Once again we had the best stay, Nicki is always very helpful. The standard of our room was lovely, the breakfast is the best even better than my own. Even though you are on the main road in to St Austell you would never of guest all rooms are very quite. We will be back again soon.

Nikki is very welcoming, friendly and helpful and she serves delicious hot breakfast, especially the eggs are excellent. The B&B is lovely, very comfortable bed. Short walk to the centre of St Austell.

We stayed for two nights and found Nikki to be a great host who went out of her way to help us feel welcome. The food was lovely with a good variety to suit all preferences. Very comfortable stay and in a great location. We highly recommend staying here and would visit again.

Me and my partner visited The Arches over the bank holiday weekend and found it great value for money and an ideal base for visiting the Eden Project. Nikki was an excellent host who made us instantly feel at home, and gave us advice on restaurants to try in St Austell, as well as serving the best cooked breakfast I've... More

Nikki was a great host, very friendly and helpful, and cooks the best hot breakfasts, including white pudding and kippers if desired! The room was very clean and comfortable, and had a lovely view over the hills and past the railway arches. It's a 15 minute walk from the station and a 10 minute walk from the town centre -... More

We were directed to The Arches from several other B&Bs that were already full. It was getting late and we nearly missed the sign, but the massive arches of therailway viaduct gave us a good clue where to look. It proved to be a lucky find. The proprietor was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. Better than that, it... More

The Arches was an excellent, value for money base for visiting the Eden Project and only a short walk away from St Austell town centre. Nikki welcomed us on arrival with a cream tea which was a pleasant surprise. Our Jack Russell dog was made to feel very welcome and, with our permission, given several dog biscuits during our stay.... More

Nikki makes one feel very welcome and goes out of her way to provide a relaxed atmosphere in this B+B. A wonderfully comfortable four-poster bed in a room, with a decently-sized TV and a view of the eponymous viaduct arches, plus a great breakfast added to the charm. Not very far to walk into the centre of town, you'll be... More

We stayed here to use as a base to visit places like Padstow on the north side and Polperro on the south side which were within easy reach We found this b&b a home from home and we're happy with our stay, nice friendly service, comfortable room and good breakfast with a wide choice. A short stroll from St Austell... More
