This was our 4th stay with Nikki and Kendra and as usual we were spoilt rotten and treated like members of the family. Nothing is too much trouble for Nikki who has an extensive knowledge of the surrounding area and Cornwall in general. The Attic room is huge, beds very comfortable and the facilities second to none, could have stood... More

I enjoyed my stay in the arches, Nikki is extremely welcoming and gave us lots of advice on places to visit etc. Good sized clean rooms and great breakfasts. Her dog is lovely and very obedient. Highly recommended and cant wait stay again at the arches.

really great little b and b in St Austell. Very friendly, lovely rooms and great breakfasts - we were even offered a wonderful cream tea on our arrival !!! Very convenient for the town, only 2 - 3 minutes walk away with a couple of good pubs and ideally situated for doing a few days touring around . The bus... More

Had a fantastic stay at the Arches. Nikki (and Kendra the dog) made us feel really welcome. Great breakfast with a lot of choice. Cream tea on arrival. Excellent value for money. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Stayed two nights in green room, which had en suite bathroom. Convenient for visiting the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Lanhydrock House. A nice big bedroom. Very helpful and friendly hostess, who went out of her way to help us with her local knowledge. Wonderful breakfasts. Noise from the road at night. Slept with earplugs in. Getting... More

Nikki was very friendly and the breakfasts were amazing. We could help ourselves to toast, cereals, juices etc before (and after as well) she served up a delicious English breakfast. The room and bathroom were all very clean and there was sufficient storage space. I stayed in the red room and there was even a hot water bottle in one... More

It is a very nice tiny hotel in about 15 minutes walk from the train station. The owner was forthcoming and organized our check in in the best way for us possible. The room (we had a twin) was rather quiet, nicely and homely decorated, the personal bathroom across the hall big and convenient. Breakfast tasty but a little bit... More

At £49.50 for the room we got twin beds, an unnecessary fridge and just enough room to get past the end and sides of the bed. The bathroom was just opposite the bedroom and is as she stated, clean but old. We were offered a cream tea on arrival and I have to say, her scones were the best I... More

My friend and I had a short break in Cornwall over Easter and booked a spring deal at the Arches, four nights for the price of three, which was excellent value. We stayed in the attic suite, which had two separate bedrooms and it's own bathroom, which was ideal for us and would suit a small family. The main room... More

We stayed here as a stopover for one night, the room was clean, very spacious and comfortable (we had the top floor room). Nikki the owner was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgable on the local area, recommending places to eat etc and somewhere to walk our dogs. We also booked here because our two well behaved collies were made welcome... More
