I stayed at the Elms for 5 weeks while I was on placement in St Austell Community hospital. They were very accomodating to all my needs, arranging early breakfasts, letting me use the fridge and allowing me to stay even when they were supposed to be closed! It's a lovely friendly B&B, beautifully clean, and great value for money. I... More

I was travelling alone and opted for the single room which is a separate annexe from the main house. It was a great choice. I had my own private entrance to a room that was very comfortably furnished and maintained to a very high standard. I could not have done better. Peter, the owner/host, is very welcoming and takes his... More

I booked following the great reviews and am so glad I did. It was for a birthday surprise. Peter, the owner was lovely, and couldn't do enough to help, offering advice on where to eat out, places to visit, even gave us a map! Our room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable I had trouble getting out of... More

We stayed there for two nights and appreciated the comfortable room and great breakfast. The host Peter is friendly and helpful and got a good sense for details. The location is 10 min from trainstation.

Stayed here with my daughter for a week. Beautiful B&B with great rooms at a great price. Breakfast lovely . Wonderful host who was very friendly and helpful. This is a great base from which to explore the area. It is also very close to the town and you can walk to the centre within 5-10 mins.

Couldn’t fault this B&B – great value for money, clean, tidy and well appointed. Peter made the difference and set this accommodation above the rest. He could not have been more helpful from the minute we arrived. He gladly gave advice on places to eat and where to go and provided maps and brochures to assist with our stay and... More

Stayed for seven enjoyable nights at The Elms in the Eden Suite. The location proved an excellent base for touring Cornwall (and Devon). Amongst other places, we visited Land's End, St Ives, Geevor, Pentewan, Perranporth, Newquay and, of course, The Eden Project. Also within an hour's train journey from Plymouth. St Austell itself has a reasonable number of options for... More

I am a Coach tour driver and recently stayed at The Elms. I found the rooms excellent - better than many hotels I have stayed in. Excellent, friendly hospitality. Lovely walks and scenery. I would definitely recommend.
