We stayed here for one night recently. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and my 2 girls were even given a peice of chocolate cake each! The room we had was very clean and comfortable. There were a couple of minor things that could have been improved (power of the shower, wobbly toilet seat, very small tv)... More

This place wasn't my first choice after seeing some of the negative reviews, but was really struggling to find a single room in this area for a reasonable price. So I thought I would give it a try. The room was spotless, comfortable bed and a decent shower. Good WIFI connection also. Susie was very welcoming and I really was... More

Spent 3 nights here with my partner visiting friends in St. Austell. Due to availability we were given a large family room for the price of a double. Room was very comfortable and clean, as was the en-suite. Couldn't fault the cooked breakfast, although service quite slow one of the days as only one member of staff doing everything. We... More

I was planning to stay here for 4 nights, end up only being for 1 night only. I checked in around 6pm from along 7 hr drive. Only to be welcomed by a man with an old stained top and a very strong smell of tobacco and drink, got shown to room and given keys. room was fine apart from... More

Owner made to feel us most unwelcome, checking his watch whilst we were eating breakfast! Breakfast was ok though. Seem to have a lot of builders staying all the time so there were a lot of going "ins" and "outs". Couldn't wait to check out - lucky we only booked for one night!!

stayed here for 2 nights....wish i hadnt.we were charged 70 pounds per night....not wotrhmore than 45 pounds a night.the walls were so thin you could hear EVERY word from rooms on both sides...so no chance of an early night. indeed the owner fills the place with contractors/workers as he told me...which means they were all going to bed q late...12.30am...and... I can highly recommend this establishment. The moment we arrived we were made very welcome, the room was well furnished and clean. Breakfast was exceptionally good and was served between 6am and 11am which we found very handy. The Eden project and Heligan Gardens were only a 15 minute drive from the guest house and the beach's including the stunning... More

What can I say. Fantastic service from the moment I arrived. Greeted by Steve ( the handsome young owner )at the door, who gave us a great welcome, then carried all our luggage to the room. The room was clean tidy and attractively decorated. Being new to the area Steve was very helpful in telling us the best places to... More
