We enjoyed the breakfasts and found the hosts very welcoming and informative. Room was clean, cosy and comfortable (room 4). A lovely bungalow that looks small from the outside but is like the tardis inside. Would return if visiting Cornwall again. Wi-fi access which is free and fast.

I have just spent a wonderful week with my husband and 2 children at the Beech Tree Guest House in St Austell. We occupied two rooms: room 3, a very comfortable double room with en suite; and room 4, a lovely twin with en suite which was ideal for my children aged 9 and 11, particularly as it is right... The owners were very nice and helpful ( even gave me a ride when I couldn't get a taxi!!) great Breakfasts, very clean everywhere. Nice location (near rail and town) quality of sleep was good and the shower was very good too. I hope the owners will let me stay again as I plan to visit sometime in the future.

Every good word you read of The Beech Tree is totally deserved. I stayed 4 nights last week and it was a pleasure to come back to every evening and a pleasure to start from every day. Being single the lovely comfy double bed room was a joy, especially the ceiling fan on the main light - bliss during the... More

We were very happy with our stay. The place was welcoming and comfortable, and Shane was very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were wonderful. Parking on-site and walking distance to shops, supermarket and restaurants. Absolutely no complaints.

Just confirming what has already been written. Breakfast to sustain you all day, beautifully cooked and presented by Terry. Shane could not have been more helpful. Even supplying an extension lead to charge my wife's mobility scooter (without cost!). Terry was a mine of information with suggestions for visits for the whole week of our stay. Excellent recommendations for evening... More

We concur with other reviews. We stayed five nights. It is close to train station and town centre with a grocery store about round the corner. Shane provided lots of info on the area and recommended trying Rattler; an excellent cider. The bathroom was, for us about the best on the trip. It was not large but was of good... More
