We booked to stay for 7 nights at The Waterwheel Inn and what a fantastic place to stay it turned out to be. The inn is nestled in a valley, with the extensive long garden lovingly landscaped with a large decked area beyond the conservatory with gazebos, ponds, planters with mature ferns, orange plants and beautiful flowers all accompanied with... We struck gold when we booked 7 nights to stay at The Waterwheel Bed and Breakfast and Restaurant. The menu is extensive with plenty of choice and excellent value for money. Fantastic service and piping hot generous portions of delicious freshly cooked food and desserts to die for. We ate in the restaurant 4 evenings during our 7 night stay... More

This is a great bed & breakfast with beautiful gardens/patio area, bar and restaurant. The room we stayed in (room 2) are not huge but are more than adequate, they are bright and airy as well as clean and well presented. I stayed for two nights with my wife and we thought it was one of the best B &... More

We’ve recently returned from a stay at The Waterwheel Inn, we travelled as a family and stayed for 2 nights. First, don’t expect a warm welcome from Francesca one of the owners; I was completely taken aback when my first question when shown the bar “Please can you advise what time the bar is open till?” was fiercely met with... Thank you for taking the time to provide this review of your recent stay with us at the Waterwheel Inn. Francesca and I want people to come to The Waterwheel and enjoy their stay here just as much as we enjoy living here and running the business. You completely misunderstood Francesca’s comments regarding the bar opening hours which were said... More

After a very inferior meal & terrible service in a nearby pub restaurant what a relief to dine in this fabulous place. Friendly, warm welcome with pre dinner drinks in a very comfortable seating area. Dining area is light & modern overlooking the conservatory & garden. I had blade of beef that simply melted in the mouth, my partner chose... More

Very pleasant stay for one night. Lovely staff, very friendly. Excellent food in the restaurant for an evening meal and lovely full English breakfast served in the conservatory in the morning. Superb garden area with lots of seating . Only very slight drawback was noise from the main road when we had our bedroom window open in the early morning.

Very attractive building from the outside with the waterwheel centre stage. The owners had also spent a lot of time and effort in the garden at the rear, which was spectacular. They are actually still working in it. The conservatory was used for breakfast. They had a very nice restaurant which we ate in every night. The food was presented... More

We stayed at The Waterwheel Inn for two nights and will definitely be returning when we are next in the area. Our expectations were exceeded across the board. We ate breakfast every morning and dinner one evening which was of an extremely high standard and a lot of choice. The location was ideal, close to the Eden Project, St Austell... More

Myself and a few friends booked the B&B for the weekend as we were visiting the nearby Eden project for a gig. We received a very warm welcome and an insight into what was available to us in the surrounding areas (including the Druids Chair at the bottom of the garden path - worth the walk). We were mos impressed... More

What a lovely place to stay. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated with plenty of tea and coffee. Perfect location for Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. Had one meal in the restaurant which was first class served by a very pleasant waitress. The garden is so nice to sit in. The breakfast was also very good.... More
