We stayed for two nights whilst visiting the local area. We found that the service was inadequate and the bed was very uncomfortable. We staying in Room 2 where the mattress was old and you could feel the springs through it and the pillows, duvets and sheets was of a poor quality. We both slept extremely badly and left more... After a week's camping in St. Agnes we had our breakfast here to set us up for the journey. What a feast. Well cooked, locally sources ingredients and plenty of it. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. Yum.

We recently stayed in the beautiful St. Agnes for two weeks. We went to St. Agnes Hotel one morning for breakfast and it was okay. We were shown to a table and our order taken at the table and not long after the food arrived and it was quite tasty. However, a week later we went back and the experience... More

It's a quaint 17th century pub, right in the middle of a quaint village situated in the quaintest part of Cornwall! Did I mention that it's QUAINT? It looks to be popular with locals as well as travelers. The hotel room was really comfortable, the bathroom was well appointed and it overlooked a lovely ancient parish church. Downstairs the pub... Very good value and we will be back. The hotel has such character. We were made very welcome. Our room was very comfortable. The food is very good and tasty. As for the staff and owners they are fantastic and that is so important.

In the style of an old travellers Inn you may best describe. The location was perfect for carnival viewing with our 7mth old niece. Room 6 was clean as was the whole place. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. All jnr staff working tirelessly but always jovial. Location was ideal for the village and my favourite walk (more so... More

Stayed 25-06-2014 I looked on line for a hotel in the area of Truro/St Agnes Cornwall, the St Agnes Hotel came up and I contacted them, I gave all of my details and explained that it was a business trip as I was visiting a customer in the near by village of Blackwater. As others have said, the staff and... More

We stayed for 5 nights and had our dog with us. Lots of locals in the bar in the evening, great community atmosphere and we were made to feel very welcome - a real home-from-home. We ate in the restaurant each evening and thoroughly enjoyed the food: good pub grub cooked well (particularly enjoyed the pork ribs with coleslaw and... More

We stayed at the Hotel for 2 nights, very friendly staff, our room was clean & basic, but had a strange smell about it. The breakfast was ok, although had to ask for sugar, orange juice, was offered only one cup of coffee, there was no spare knife for your toast and no spoon to eat your boiled eggs with, it... More
