Just back from a week's holiday, staying in Seaton. We visited the Smugglers Inn twice for food and on both occasions the food was excellent; fresh ingredients and well cooked. The place is very family friendly and we found all the staff to be extremely helpful. Our two oldest grandchildren were particularly impressed with the toys available to play with... More

We arrived here by chance while staying in looe. We were in a group of 9 and rocked up at 8pm wishing to be fed. The bar man sniffy was very polite and accommodating and nothing was to big of a deal and the food WOW all I can say is the food that the chef Nathan cooked was amazing!!!... More

We had breakfast one morning after taking our dog for a walk. He was allowed in the little bar area which was lovely and relaxing. The breakfast was good value and plenty enjoyed the freshly brewed coffee to. The staff were very friendly and I would definately visit again.

The food was very tasty and well portioned. The only negative I have about the place is the blonde lady behind the bar. She wasn't the most friendliest we had met. Everyone else seemed pleasant. Despite the unfriendly blonde behind the bar, we will definitely be back.

As a real ale man I can only comment on the beer and it was an excellent pint, A tribute to Tribute. As a visitor we were made to feel very welcome we did not get chance to sample the food menu but look forward to returning.

We waited over half an hour for one ham and one prawn bap (they had run out of baguettes), the quality of which left a lot to be desired. The dressing on the prawn one was thin and dripped all over the place while the salad dressing was supermarket style cheap tasting. The inn was not overly busy, how are... More

Breakfasts now added to this pubs menu - & boy, are they VFM. Tried both of them with my husband, & also with friends. Now the proud owners of a long lease, Kat & Ali are going from strength to strength. The new shop is shaping up well too. The food is classic pub grub, at very good prices -... More

On our day trip to the area we found this lovely pub, on the edge of the beach. The new owners are an attentive & friendly couple, who have many great plans for this venture. The homemade steak & Ale pie was delicious & my gammon steak cooked just right. Portions were generous, leaving just enough room for a cheese... More
