We stayed in the village for 5 days - self catering with 2 dogs. Very happy to find a dog friendly pub, serving food and showing sporting events on TV. The drinks were good as was the food. The Sunday Lunch in particular was superb (4 veg beautifully cooked) The staff were very pleasant and cheerful. The downside was the... More

Walked out on a rainy Friday from Millendreath... Got to the Smugglers at 11.45 and it was open... So in we popped with two chocolate labradors in tow.. Had a couple of drinks and a bowl of cheesy chips...home made and scrummy... The lady on the bar brought some biscuits over for the dogs too... Will go again :-)

When it comes to eating out, I'm fairly picky, and for this I was expecting your standard pub meal, but couldn't be more impressed with the whole experience. The food was impressive in both standard and quantity, service was more than welcoming, and the atmosphere was perfect. Will be recommending to all family and friends.

The pub is set back from the main road through Seaton with ample parking. There is the village's only 'shop', a tiny corner room in the pub that actually sells most essentials - a godsend when your renting a house that is miles from any shops. Really friendly staff, but the decor seems not to have been updated since the... More

Stopped here for 'Bar Snack' Lunch recently. We were well looked after by the barman who made us very welcome. The food too was really good and plentiful. We shall certainly come back here when next in the area.

This pub has had a bad reputation over the years with good reason, however, it's been taken over and a proper/outstanding chef employed. If you've been here in the past I suggest you give it another go as I don't think you'll be disappointed. Situated on the sea front this is a no frills looking pub with no airs and... More

Called in quite by chance . It's a proper pub with cracking beer ( the tribute was awesome) The food was what we wanted ( pub food not pretending to be anything other than pub food ) and the guy behind the bar had got a personality which is quite rare these days . We will go back when we're... More

Spent a week in Seat on in early August and were so pleased this was our nearest pub. The food was excellent and a cut above normal pub food and at very reasonable prices. We ate here 3 times during our stay. The tribute ale was lovely and they didn't rob you on the price of a large glass of... More
