Spent Sunday early afternoon here for Sunday lunch. The food was good nicely served and could be taken on the lawn or in the resturant. It was a fabulous day so we started and finished outside and had our main course inside. The Rosevine is in a stunning location with extensive views and lovely gardens. It would get a good... More

Thank you for your feedback, I am glad you enjoyed the food. I am guessing you had the Rioja Crianza from Covila and the only spirit and mixer at £6 is our Cornish Gin and tonic, a Gordans gin and tonic and other house spirit & mixer drinks are £4.50. I am sorry you find these prices expensive, but do... More

Stayed in the Slate House which is a separate building from the main house. It felt very secluded and peaceful. Room was lovely - nicely decorated with french doors onto a little patio area. Wifi was available which was useful as we couldn't get a mobile phone signal on O2. The bed was really comfortable with good quality bedding. The... More

A stunning location up a lane that ends in a beach. The extensive grounds are lovely and informal; this is not a prim and proper establishment rather a fun place for a holiday. The building is elegant and attractive with plain, clean functional decor. It is not a conventional hotel as the rooms are self catering with a basic kitchen... More

We travel to Cornwall several times a year, but have never been to the Portscatho area. We did a secret escape offer which was room only. Something that would not normally appeal to us but breakfast wasn't offered in this deal. I rang the hotel prior to booking as I couldn't distinguish the difference between Slate rooms and Main house... More

My husband and I ate at the restaurant on Friday, which was one of The Rosevine's set £18 menus. The chef should definitely have a Michelin star. The fish soup to start with was full of flavour and delicious. For the main course, my husband had the hake and I had the pork belly, both were outstanding and just the... More

The Rosevine is lovely. Our room (Messack) was spacious, stylish and with a fantastic view, The hotel is relaxing and comfortable. It’s stylish but without being up itself so great for families. The food was delicious and unpretentious with a better than usual children’s menu. All the staff made us feel really at home. Oh and the location is amazing... More

We stayed at the Rosevine for a week from the 18th August and I can honestly say we had the best holiday in Cornwall we've ever had. We stayed in Messack which is a family suite with a little kitchenette, dining table and chairs, double bed and a separate twin room for our daughter. It was fabulously clean, well decorated...
