Spent NYE here at Phoebes which was a lovely first floor apartment with a great sea view and a mini balcony. Loved the sofa at the end of the bed where we sat and listened to the waves. White company toiletries and complimentary milk and cookies were a nice touch. Porthcurnick beach is a minute's walk away. Will definitely return!

Just celebrated a special birthday at the Rosevine with all the family. Tim arranged a weekend of activities including a treasure hunt and beach BBQ.He selected a range of different meals for the weekend which satisfied all the family from 6 years old to 70. There were 14 of us and we all found the " House by the Sea"... More

We had lunch here and were made to feel welcome even though we arrived before the restaurant opened. The lunch was served In a very pleasant restaurant with a fabulous view, and the food was of very good quality. This would be a very nice place to stay as it is in a beautiful setting.

It was interesting to read the slightly mixed reviews of The Rosevine. It's certainly a different sort of place to stay; not quite a hotel but not quite a self-catering arrangement either. It is described simply as 'a house' and could also be described as a flexible hybrid. We have just spent five days there and found it a very... More

We have just spent the afternoon at the Rosevine having afternoon tea for a baby shower! It was a lovely sunny day which made the setting even more beautiful. We had a brilliant time, the staff were so helpful and friendly and catered to all of our needs! The afternoon tea was great, with more than enough food for us... More

Let's start with the GOOD! The setting is fabulous near a wonderful beach. The views and the garden are beautiful. The house is stylishly decorated and there is a warm and welcoming ambience inside. The food in the restaurant is largely very good indeed, if a little pricey. We stayed in one of the Slate Rooms with our small dog... More

Lovely place with a good view out to the sea. Dinner here last night was extremely good. Well cooked quality fish and vegetables. Service very friendly and efficient. Hotel seams to be geared to families but with a big emphasis on good food. .

I am sorry that we ran out of scones that day, but I do hope you will give us another chance. Do contact me personally so I may book an afternoon tea for you in the garden this summer or by the fire in the Autumn Best wishes Tim More
