The Rosevine is lovely. Our room (Messack) was spacious, stylish and with a fantastic view, The hotel is relaxing and comfortable. It’s stylish but without being up itself so great for families. The food was delicious and unpretentious with a better than usual children’s menu. All the staff made us feel really at home. Oh and the location is amazing... More

We stayed at the Rosevine for a week from the 18th August and I can honestly say we had the best holiday in Cornwall we've ever had. We stayed in Messack which is a family suite with a little kitchenette, dining table and chairs, double bed and a separate twin room for our daughter. It was fabulously clean, well decorated... More

I took my sister and my family for lunch at the rosevine. The children were allowed to make use of the swimming pool which they enjoyed, as well as the garden/play area afterwards which they all thoroughly enjoyed. The setting is beautiful, with lovely views over the Porthcurnick beach. The staff are attentive and very polite. We had a light... More

Absolutely perfect for a relaxing and luxurious family break. The Rosevine has thought of everything. Perfect location - a stone's throw from a beautiful child-friendly beach with the added bonus of the wonderful Hidden Hut, great views from the rooms plus a short drive to lovely places like Falmouth and St Mawes. Beautiful décor - gorgeous pieces of furniture/period features... More

Stayed at the Rosevine for the second time. Our previous holiday was with a baby and toddler and this time we were returning with a 6 and 7 year old! On the positive side the Rosevine is a beautifully clean and well-presented hotel. The gardens and patios to the rooms are lovely and our stay was enhanced hugely by the... More

Dear JaniceDerbyshire Thank you for your review and positive comments. The issues with the plumbing have been sorted, during high season some occasional wear and tear issues will happen but this has been dealt with accordingly. We are slightly surpised you mentioned several dishes were not available especially as the restaurant opens at 6pm. We always work with freshly made... More

We were staying elsewhere but wanted a change from self-catering. The reviews were good so we decided to try lunch. We were not disappointed; food was first class, service professional but still friendly, and the location was perfect.

Dear S R, Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are glad to hear your lunch at The Rosevine was excellent. Our dishes are cooked simply, with what’s in season and using as much local produce as we can and this is all served with a seaview. Hopefully we can welcome you soon again. Best wishes, Robby More

Lots of children. It is relaxed, whilst still bring luxurious. Excellent food and location. Would love to visit again. Perhaps not great if you are child free, but totally and utterly suited us. The proximity to the beach and hidden hut made us feel like we'd stumbled on something special.

Our family holiday needed to cater for two teenagers (12 and 15), nan and grandad, and us (mum and dad!). We booked The Rosevine because it seemed to offer lots of flexibility (you can choose to do self catering - or not - it depends on how you feel) and is in an area of Cornwall that we love........... and... We paid a visit simply to explore the possibility as a wedding venue. We ended up having coffee outside which was pleasant enough. The reception we received was not particularly friendly or inviting. Almost as if no one cared whether we were future customers or not.Our experience may have been untypical, but you can only report actual experience.

The food was good and the staff were attentive and friendly. We visited for Sunday lunch and as they had a limited menu on there was no vegetarian option, my sister is a vegetarian. The staff quickly spoke to the chef and offered an alternative.

Dear sparkly_helen, Thank you for your review and lovely comments. On Sunday's we always have a lovely (great value) 3-course lunch menu with great home made and local dishes including 1 roast. We are very flexible and want to pay attention to any dietary requirements so I am happy we could assist with your sister's requirements. We hope we can... More
