My partner treated me to an evening and overnight stay at Driftwood. I think it's fair to say that it doesn't get much better than this. The hotel is relaxed and informal. We had a room with a sea view, which was just stunning, despite the rather inclement Cornish weather. Our evening meal was the highlight however. I don't think... More

The view from the hotel gardens is absolutely beautiful. Very relaxing to while away the hours with a glass of vino and peace and quiet. Room perfectly pleasant. Hotel relaxing and quirky. Food out if this world. Absolutely stunning. That's the reason to go! It won't disappoint!

We visited in March 2015 for dinner. The food was out of this world with great local produce. I would recomend the tasting wine which goes with the menu. It was a great selection with generous measures. The staff were very curteous and freindly as well as knowledgable. All in all one of the best meals I have ever had.

My fiancé booked this for the evening after he purposed as a surprise & it was wonderful. A perfect location to spend some quiet time with your loved ones. Beautiful views & a lovely setting up on the cliff. Dinner was fantastic - We tried the taster menu with wine flight & it did not disappoint. The staff caught on... More

We stayed in the cabin at Driftwood for our "mini-moon" straight after our wedding. The cabin is gorgeous, and set away from the hotel with the most amazing views over the bay. The hotel itself is gorgeous, and the whole team are friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant 3 times, and each time it was divine! Perfect location... More

This was our fourth stay at the Driftwood over the last three years. It never fails to step up to the mark with the accommodation or the food. Chris Eden, it is as always a pleasure to eat your food. The Hotel staff are very knowledgeable about the food being offered and the guest rooms are very clean and comfortable.... More

Driftwood Hotel has everything you would want for a calm and restful break. Perched on the cliffs with stunning views out to sea it is on the Coastal Path. The communal areas and rooms are all decorated to the coastal theme and to a very high standard. Service was excellent in all areas. The restaurant fully deserves its Michelin star... More

Not easy to find but well worth the effort. Great location and lovely garden with views to Portscatho and in the opposite direction to Nare Head. Access to beach below the hotel. Our room (10) was double aspect and comfortable. The food was excellent, and the staff were well-drilled, very well-informed and unfailingly friendly. Next time we will visit in... More

Cornwall is beautiful. The Driftwood Hotel is one of the most beautiful spots in Cornwall. Your room will be commodious, decorated most tastefully with comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom ensuite. Gaze from that lovely room out across splendid landscapes toward the azure blue of Gerrans Bay. Breakfast arrives at your room with excellent coffee and superb home-made croissants. At dinner... Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights for a birthday treat..and why a treat it was! Nothing was too much trouble for anyone there and the service was first class without being obtrusive. The food is amazing and the chef is fully warranted his Michelin star. A cold and rainy weekend meant we returned early from our day trip to... More
