Super place, relaxing, great decor. We were disappointed by the restaurant though, as service was poor, and we sent most of the food back. It would appear perhaps that Mr Outlaw has started to neglect this one.

Large modern room with large comfortable bed and big bathroom. We had great views over the estuary (cost extra but worth it). Staff were very helpful. Nice lounges and a games rooms with table tennis, table football, we used the full size snooker table. Has a small pool. Not cheap but worth it and restaurant on site is magnificent.

Stayed for one night. Room was large and very comfortable but the rest of the hotel was a bit soulless. We ate in the Nathan Outlaw restaurant which was very good food and value. Perhaps it was the drizzly weather, the fact that we entered through the back entrance into the stairwell and the lack of people or buzz which... More

This is a really lovely hotel with the most stunning views over the Estuary. The staff were all excellent and couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. It is the sort of hotel that is comfortable and instantly relaxing. We were in a standard room which was nicely decorated and again had a great view. The bathroom only had one... More

Great food, good price £25 for set menu of three courses. The noijito was absolutely the best drink in the world!!!!!! I'm making my mum make me one now, even though it won't be anywhere near as good! The cuttlefish fritters were yummy! Service however was a bit slow at the beginning but did speed up.

We stayed for 3 nights, over the course of a long week end. We had spoken to the hotel beforehand and they arranged taxis and restaurant bookings for us and emailed us with confirmation of the various arrangements. We had an estuary view room which was bright and comfortable, with decent facilities. Breakfast was good and a nice touch was... More

We stayed for 3 nights as I fancied a short break by the sea with nice restaurants nearby. The hotel is positioned up a steep drive, benefitting from a lovely view of the estuary. Our room (210) was large, very comfortable with a window seat to gaze out at the little boats. The bathroom was also a good size with... More

Our third visit here. Pleased that nothing had changed. The hotel is very relaxed and comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and most importantly quiet, 3 undisturbed nights sleep, bliss. The restaurant food was delicious but could do with more choices on the menu as limited if staying more than a few days.... More

Stayed for a night in July. The staff are great and the informality is really refreshing. Sadly our room was a bit small and too hot and the window didn't open sufficiently to let air circulate. I would prefer not to use AC in this day and age, particularly in England. More convenient power points would be better for the... More

Lovely location, gorgeous food and great service. Parts of the hotel are looking a little tired and perhaps a bit of an overhaul is due but was certainly a positive experience. Rock is a very lively and pretty seaside resort with beautiful beaches and coastal walks.
