The St Enodoc could not be less like the Jamaica Inn of popular imagination. For damp dark bedrooms, surly locals and forbidding views - don't come here! The hotel is fully modern with all the facilities one could expect and very tastefully finished. The Restaurant was very stylish and the food great though with "fashionably" sized portions. And should specials... More

Having just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely hotel I can honestly say we have never had such good service anywhere. Every single member of staff was smiley, welcoming, informative and happy to be of service. It was a joy. Our room was spacious, clean and decorated with a lovely seaside theme. The bed was very comfortable... More

I am not sure if this will get onto the review list but, I am saddened by the last, incredibly negative review. We are due to visit St Enodoc Hotel in a few days time for a long planned, special birthday weekend. Throughout the planning process the team at the hotel have been incredibly helpful and professional and dealt with... More

We stayed here for one night in September 2014. Our first impression when we walked in the door was " are we at the right place ?" We were shown to our room. Very disappointing. My husband was spot on when he said the rooms reminded him of a hospital. They have that clinical feel to them. They are not... More

Beware of the Satnav - we were led straight to the door of the hotel - the back door. The voice from above took us around the back of the hotel where is there is nothing but a twin track rough path. Nonetheless we did go back on the road and find the front entrance which is imposing and high... More

Just back from a long weekend break at The St Enodoc Hotel and had a wonderful time. Would recommend eating at Restaurant Nathan Outlaw (seafood taster menu), what an experience. Staff were so lovely and location was ideal for walking into Rock and getting ferry to Padstow. Overall a 10 out of 10.

We took the spa and lunch deal and it was marvellous value. The bistro has exceptional views over the Camel estuary, and the service and the food are outstanding. The dessert was the stand out- bramble jelly with lemon creme brulée on top and blackberry ice-cream. Wow! And the cod with oyster fritter was excellent. Really can't fault it. Right... More
