We stayed there for a couple of nights and the location is quite convenient. The rooms are large and airy, and the place is overall clean. However the staff/owner(?) are not professional. On arrival no one was at reception (a board says that you have to phone for someone to come greet you), and when they came 5 mins afterwards... More

We chose a B & B instead of a hotel in the expectation of meeting welcoming, friendly local owners. Sadly this was not the case. The owners did not engage with the customers other than providing a good breakfast. They were often out and turned the heating off during the day. Since the weather was unseasonably cold we found this... More

Phoned and booked a room 2 hours before we were heading to rock for a birthday meal. Very accommodating, perfect simple room with a comfy bed and soft comfortable linen, all areas and amenities were clean and presentable. The breakfast was fab, and served in a lovely airy breakfast room. All together very pleased and would recommend to friends and... More

We returned to Rock this year and stayed in the B&B. This stay we opted for the standard room which was perfect for our needs but if you are looking for a larger room or somewhere to spend some time, the premium room might be more appropriate. Our room was clean and had everything we required, hairdryer wasn't working but... More

Stayed here last July for a couple of nights as we were dining in Rock and Padstow. We were on public transport, so having the B&B on a bus route and in easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, pubs, ferry was very convenient. It's in a quiet location, away from the bustle of Padstow. Breakfast was good in a... More

Unfortunately the owner/managers were absent during our stay and things were not as good as we had been led to believe - the heating, which only operated for short periods did not work at all in mornings and it was cold - staff could only say "they" would be back soon and it would be attended to. The towel rail... More

A lovely B&B, great location. Very welcoming, spotlessly clean and great breakfast. Highly reccommend. Will definitely visit again. Comfortable bed, modern bathroom. Colour TV. Very quiet location close to Rock beach and ferry over to Padstow.

Flexible options of small self-catering apartments and B&B. So you can self-cater but still enjoy a full cooked breakfast! Free Wifi in public room only. Initial welcome can seem a bit chilly, but not unfriendly - helped me with luggage etc beyond the call of duty.

We choose to stay at the Lodge mainly because of the fact that the dog was welcome. The fact that the lodge is actually near the St. Enadoc Golf Club was also useful for us. The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was firm and very comfortable. The lodge is very well maintained and parking was provided and... More
