We came back last week from only a few nights at the hotel (wish we had stayed longer) and can't wait to go there again. We were made very welcome by Lisa and Andy and staff. The hotel is attractively decorated and very clean, with beautiful views. The food was really really good and we couldn't wait for our evening... more

The hotel owners (Andy and Lisa) and staff were lovely; really friendly and welcoming. We got to see the badgers that visit the hotel in the evening, which was fantastic. Our room was lovely; comfortable, clean and with a modern bathroom. The lounges, bar areas and garden were really comfortable, well kept and attractive. The location and views were amazing;... more

I walked in off the street, so had no preconceptions about the hotel. Access: off the main Watergate to Porth road, turn left after the Sands resort and the new condiminiums. The hotel is quaint and overlooking the bay. Plenty of parking at the back. No lift. There are bedrooms on the ground floor. Hotel: its an old hotel that... more

The hotel was very clean, well kept and attractivly and sympatheticaly decorated with the room and general facilities of a high standard. The owners & staff were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The environmental policy, including the use of local produce was very welcome. Food is the highlight, evening dinner was excellent and looked forward to during... more

We have been staying at the Whipsiderry for many years, and have always enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in an ideal location, beautiful views, lots of walks, lovely beaches and easy access to many stunning bays along the North Coast, Watergate Bay being just one of them. Other places like Padstow, Truro. the Eden project are just 30 minutes... more

We spent 3 days at the Whipsiderry in June.On arrivatl staff couldn'nt have been more welcoming .,Bearing in mind rooms are not cheap the room was suprisingly small and a bit of a disappointment .The intimateness of the place was a little overwhelming at first but very swiftly grew to enjoy the warmth and friendliness of the hotel. In all... more

One of my best friends Matthew ( Matty moo ! ) was married to his lovely wife at the hotel on the 27th of September. With a party of about 65 people we pretty much took over the whole hotel for the weekend !.Bearing in mind the large cross section of ages and personalities, Andy, Lisa and the staff worked... more

My daughter's wedding took place at the Hotel on 27th September. What a day to remember. We had all our family and friends staying for the weekend. From the moment we arrived we knew that everything was going to be perfect, we weren't disappointed. From the accommodation to the wonderful attentiveness of Lisa and Andy to every guest's needs was... more

Just returned from a brilliant wedding weekend of my partners niece Beth & new nephew in law Matthew at the Whipsiderry Hotel. The hotel owners Andy & Lisa are lovely and go out of their way to make sure you have a lovely stay. The food is excellent and well presented - 6 course meal every night prepared by resident... more

Whipsiderry Hotel Newquay Cornwall England. Stayed there August 24 2008 through Aug31 2008. My wife and I are from Canada and stayed at the Whipsiderry as part of a month long tour of the U. K.
