What a lovely place to stay. Felt very welcomed by the owners Sharon and Sue who do an amazing job at running the place, very friendly and eager for you to make the most out of your stay. Very clean, wonderful home cooked dinner, good range of drink choice at the bar, plenty to chose from for breakfast, room was... More

Warm welcome and interesting house. We had a large room but tiny bathroom without bath. Didn't have dinner but enjoyed a drink in the large garden. Breakfast was nice. Best thing about it was the relaxed atmosphere, if you want formal don't stay here.

We are walking the coastal path and all our nightly accommodation has been booked on our behalf, so we were not really sure what to expect. What we found was a lovely establishment tucked away about a mile outside Perranporth. Our welcome was friendly and they seemed to cater for the various whims of long distance walkers! To save you... We had walked from Newquay as the first leg of our Coastal Path walk to Penzance and were somewhat tired when we got to Perranporth. We knew that our accommodation was out of town, but were a bit dismayed when we realised quite how far up St Georges Hill we would have to walk. However, it was well worth it.... More

We have had an amazing 5 days with Sue and Sharon. This is a great base for surfing, walking, cycling and other more relaxing activities. It is the only place where my son asks for seconds at supper time and where adults and children receive an equally warm welcome. I always come home feeling totally refreshed. Thank you.

Just absolutely terrible customer service! My partner and I booked this hotel through the hotel's own website on Thursday, which said they had a room, to stay Saturday 5th July to spend the evening and next day with family celebrating a lost one's birthday. On arrival into Perranporth we called the hotel to find out where it was, to be... More

We have an externally managed online booking system and are alerted to our online bookings by text. On rare occasions the text comes through just as we have taken a telephone booking for the same room. When this happens we cancel the booking and the external system takes care of it. They inform the guests of the cancellation. We were,... More

We stayed at the St George's Country Hotel for three nights with other guests attending for a wedding reception on Perranporth beach for two friends who had recently been married on a cruise ship. Welcomed by Sue and Sharon and shown to lovely double room with all facilities and very modern en-suite shower. It really felt like a home from... More

Just spent 3 nights at St Georges Country hotel and experienced the hospitality of Sharon & Sue. Having walked the whole of the South West Coast Path almost twice, I've stayed in a lot of B&B's / hotels over the last ten years, and St Georges definitely among the best overall experience. I found them in the South West Coast... More
