Stayed here for one night during Cornwall Coastal Path. Very welcoming owner who is always knowledgeable and available. (She reminded me of the shopkeeper who appears "as if by magic" in Mr Benn [if you are under 40, ask someone older!] as she will be suddenly be by you side in the hallway) Comfortable well decorated room with good WiFi... We are walking the coast path and having our accommodation booked for us. What a find the Old Manse was. Close to the coast path and to the Geevor Mine. Everything was all we could ask for. Our hostess was keen to make everything just right and had loads of good advice. Breakfasts were cooked to taste. Fully recommended.

Stayed for 2 nights in this very friendly & comfortable B & B. Good to see so much work has gone in to restoring the whole house to its former glory - stripping off the old paint & lacquer on the doors, frames, bookcases etc., to reveal the pine makes for a really cosy feeling. Comfortable bed and a great... More

We two South West Coast Path walkers from New Zealand were given a twin room with an excellent and roomy bathroom, quality shower and view of the surrounding hills. We had a quiet night and excellent sleep in comfortable beds. Fellow travellers in adjacent rooms were considerate and quiet, fortunately for us. Pauline, our hostess, put the heaters on for... More

We had a pleasant stay at The Old Manse despite not getting the twin room we requested (not the fault of the B&B I should point out!). We stayed in the self-contained studio which is ideal for a couple. The studio was clean and cosy; the only drawbacks being the incredibly small wet room (which had nowhere to hang a... More

We stayed here for 1 night as part of our Coastal Walk. Our room was located at the front of the house with the sea view and of the garden. I have to say that there was more than adequate space in this room for 2 people plus our luggages. Our bathroom was also quite large and well lit due... More

A friendly welcome and room to park on the drive, as well as good sized en-suite bedrooms, which are beautifully clean and well appointed, puts this B&B above many. We had the room at the front of the house, overlooking the garden and the sea. Simple modern decor, plenty of room and storage space for those staying more than one... More

Stayed for one night whilst walking the south west coastal path. Friendly owners and gorgeous cooked breakfast. Lovely sea view room with en suite shower. Pubs locally serve evening meal. The scenery is truly wonderful.

We stayed for 2 nights with our friends ( John and Alison ) on the 7th and 8th September. The Old Manse is very clean and the owners are both very friendly. The cooked breakfast is served on warm plates and you get a good selection. Our room was at the front and had a lovely view of the coast.... More

We had one night's stay at The Old Manse when walking the South West Coast Path. The only disadvantage of this b&b is that it is located quite far from the path, which you notice after a day's walk from St Ives... Apart from that, there are only advantages. Our room was excellent, large and clean, with a very spacious... More
