Couldn't be easier to get to from the station so that was a good start. First impression was "Oh dear!" as I walked into the bar at 10.15 pm to be confronted by a very loud (but very good) live rock band. Fortunately reception and the accommodation was well away from the bar area and I was able to get... More

We had room 3 which is the disabled room on the ground floor just down from reception. The bathroom format as what my mother needed i.e a... More

We stayed in room 16 which was quite large with a king sized bed and a sofa. The bathroom was a very good size (which makes a change) with lovely thick white towels. Everywhere was spotless with plenty of room in the wardrobe and drawers. Breakfasts were good with the usual choices but the real bonus came with the dinners... More

Our room was the very large/disabled room. The bed was really comfortable the right amount of pillows for me. The settee in the room is quite big, it makes another bed (having a caught a glimse of bedding poking out. The wardrobe door was a bit stiff to open, but that was no big deal. There is also a free... The Royal Inn was fine but a little awkward to get booked in, no one on reception. We booked a table for dinner for the first night of our stay, unfortunately we were given a table in what I can only describe as a cubby hole, the lighting was subdued to say the least, I prefer to see what I... Stayed her for 5 nights in September. Couldn't have had a more enjoyable time. The Inn is literally 90 seconds from the railway platform. A great welcome and shown all around. The room was spacious, spotless with all the amenities you would expect of a 4* Inn. Both the bar and the restaurant were well patronised by locals, passers by... More

A very well located hotel with ample on site parking, especially close to the Eden Project. On arrival we were given a warm welcome, which was also shown by every member of staff during our 2 night stay. They were all friendly and courteous. The room was spacious and comfortable. Our superior room had a huge bed, a sofa and... More

Having decided to take my mother at quite short notice to the Eden Project, I was a bit shocked when I looked up hotel prices for September in the area, and we had a particular challenge fining two rooms. However we received a warm welcome here. The decor in the rooms was very pleasant - mainly pine and both rooms... More

Well located just steps from the Par train station. The room was clean, modern and must have been recently refurbished. It was a decent size and very comfortable. A fan was provided for the heat at night and replaced upon request when it stopped working. The free wifi in the room worked perfectly. The free breakfast was one of the... More
