We were looking for a B&B within walking distance to the Eden Project and we had a fantastic stay. On arrival, Keith met us in the garden and offered us a cup of tea and biscuits after we dropped our bags off to our room. This was beautifully presented and we sat and relaxed in the guest lounge whilst talking... More

A most enjoyable stay in elegant surroundings, well looked after by a genial and informative host! The peaceful location is ideal for a whole range of "tourist must sees". Just a pity the weather wasn't kind enough to encourage us to use the pool and hot tub. Perhaps next time........?

We spent two nights (not long enough!) at this super B&B and are patting ourselves on the back in choosing to stay here. Keith was so welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the enormous Rashleigh Suite - luxury. Delicious breakfast in lovely setting. So lucky to have a swim in the pool and enjoy a glass of wine with our... More

Thank you so much for your review. I really have had a run of lovely guests recently it makes the job so much more pleasurable to see smiling faces every morning at breakfast, whilst Lynda is away up Country looking after her mum. Lynda will be back soon as she is a dab hand at ironing and giving the flower... More

We booked here at our daughter's recommendation - she told us it was quirky and it could certainly be called that! Located not far from the main road, but far enough for peace and quiet to prevail, it is an unusually extended manor house with many interesting features. Our host Keith met us at the garden gate and welcomed us... More

All told, staying at the Nanscawen Manor is more like staying in someone's private house rather than a normal hotel. We found this delightful retreat thanks to the advice of a car park attendant at the nearby Eden Project. The entry off the road comes upon one fairly suddenly, with an uphill narrow drive past rhododendron and camellia, in flower... More

Thank you for your review. You of course were staying in a private house and not a hotel. There are many advantages staying at a b&b as opposed to a hotel. It is personal and friendly and the owners are really happy to have you in their home. If you need help there is generally someone around to help, but... More

A grand old manor house set high up the hill, far back from the road and within a short distance of the Eden Project . Our room was large with views over the valley, a huge four poster bed and all the extras like a spa bath, TV, etc. You can also have the use of the heated pool and... More

Stayed two nights at the Manor , Keith is a fantastic caring host and made us very welcome. Our room had all the facilities of a List class hotel, very comfortable bed, huge bedroom and bathroom. Our breakfast was top quality ingredients, well cooked and well presented. A more salmon with eggs or cooked English breakfast. The large hot tub was... More

By happy chance we were booked into this lovely accommodation by the helpful ladies at the Tourist information office. The Manor House is a very lovely old and historic building in a perfect, tranquil setting very close to the Eden Project, which was just perfect for us. Great ambience created by our welcoming, congenial and knowledgeable host Keith. Fantastic breakfasts... More

Nanscawen is a good bed and breakfast and the owner is a very welcoming man. My room was very comfortable with an excellent bed. Location is excellent if you enjoy walking (coastal path and luxulyan valley). If you are looking for some peace and quiet its also great. However, this peace and quite is interrupted every single morning with the... More

Thank you for your review, and pleased you had a good stay. I do enjoy having visitors to stay it's a happy thing to do.
