Just home from a fantastic weekend at the Britannia Inn. I booked all the rooms for friends staying in Cornwall to join in with our wedding celebrations. We are a family of four, two adults and two children. Our room was amazing, very spacious, light and airy. These rooms are very high spec, they are beautifully decorated with top quality... More

Simply put the Britannia had fantastic staff, fantastic facilities, fantastic rooms for a great price. A central location to travel easily around Cornwall. The events on the large outdoor area were excellent. Thanks to all of the staff who were all very friendly and couldn't do enough to help us have a great holiday.

Read previous reviews on here and on Expedia and it did NOT dissappoint. Fantastic hotel, gorgeous modern family room spleeps 4 very comfortably, a bed each for the children and good comfy beds, large bathroom large white fluffy towels. Food amazing breakfast freshly cooked to order and NOT pre-cooked and kept warm in those awful self service things. Dinner outsatnding though... More

WE selected this premises as it is close to the Eden Project. It is a refurbished Inn with a new restuarant (Waves) attached. Got a very pleasant room. We were afraid of road noise but were assured that as it is on a back road (A390!) it would be quiet. It was. We were told the restuarant was booked out... More

Picked this B&B as it is close to The Eden Project, it is on a busy road, right by a roundabout. Staff were great, really helpful & even though extremely busy, service was great. The room (Gribben) had a comfy bed & a brilliant shower, but it was incredibly hot (it was cooler outside!) A fan was provided which was... More

Visted the 'Brit' for breakfast and the 2 for £12 deal. Nice restaurant and good service. The breakfast quality was high with good local sausage and bacon. Some extra toast would have been nice, but overall rated quite high on our local breakfast tour

This is a newly refurbished hotel, done to a very high standard. The rooms were clean and well appointed with quality wood furniture and soft furnishings. The bedrooms all have ensuite bathrooms. The bar and three restaurants are comfortable and a pleasant place to eat. The food was second to none and at a very reasonable cost as was the... More

We booked our stay at the Britannia Inn fairly last minute after looking at several alternatives but decided to stay here due to its close proximity to the Eden Project. The Inn is very easily found situated next to the main road at a. Roundabout which is very handy for travelling to and from the Inn. There are no problems... More

Stayed here in March with friends over a weekend. Rooms have all been recently refurbed to a superb standard. Food in Waves resturant was great and excellent value, i can strongly recommend the fillet steak. Breakfast was also good with a full selection of English and continental treats. Staff were very friendly. Ideal location to visit the Eden Project.

Stayed here in march 2012. The staff made us so welcome and the service given was second to none. Would recommend to anyone. The rooms are excellent and so tastefully finished, they are comfortable and very roomy. The restaurant food is top quality and keenly priced. An enjoyable time for us all.
