My partner and I stayed in this hotel for two nights, when we first arrived we were greeted with friendly staff and a calm atmsophere in the general restaraunt/bar area. The rooms are up flights of stairs and depending on which floor you're in carrying up heavy bags/suitcases could potentially be a nightmare so we opted to leave our bags... More

When we arrived and saw it was a pub, my head said that we had made a huge mistake. We were shown our room and my heart knew that we had made the right decision. The room was big, light and homey. It was clean and tidy. The beds, double for us and two separate singles for our boys instead... More

The Britannia Inn looks like a pub from the outside and we were wondering if we had made a mistake, especially as this was a family stay. We had nothing to worry about, the room that we stayed in was large, spotlessly clean, and very well appointed. Felt more like a grown up hotel in London than a B&B in... More

We wanted to stay near the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan and 'The Brit' fitted very well. There are only seven rooms, all newly furnished etc, very comfortable and well appointed. The food is great - very generous helpings and plenty of choice. If you intend to eat there make sure that you book a table as... More

called in for a sunday lunch carvery without a booking but had no trouble getting a table in this very busy establishment. portions were huge, food was good and the value was very good for the area. kids had a good run in the garden and I had a nice pint of local ale. very good.

Myself and my wife stayed here last night and I feel compelled to write a review as soon as I have arrived home. This was our second stay at The Britannia, and it didn't fail to live up to the extremely high standards set by our first stay. The only downfall was that we didn't have time to eat in... More

A small but excellently-appointed inn with welcoming friendly staff, spacious and most comfortable bedrooms and a superb breakfast. Our only regret is that we did not have a longer stay the better to appreciate the quality of the facilities. The only slight carp - and this is really trying to find something for the sake of it - is that... More

My husband and I had an overnight stay here, really enjoyed the experience, friendly and helpful staff, extremely clean, gorgeous room and fabulous food. Our evening meal was superb and the desserts were lush, will definitely be staying there again,

We were originally going to stay for 2 nights but found our room so comfortable that we stayed for 3 instead! As soon as we arrived and were shown to our room the staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was a really good size, clean and easily fitted the travel cot for our little one with plenty of space... More

My wife and I were looking for a pub that served food and was showing football. We had been to this pub a few times in the past so decided to stop. After walking into the wrong side of the pub and into the restaurant the waitress kindly found us a table even thought you had to book. The food... More
