A typical pub with rooms, good food in the bar, clean bedrooms, nice sea views. Our room was sadly at the top of the pub. some trouble getting hot water. new young ownwers/managers are trying hard and I am sure they will make a good go of this venue

Lovely atmosphere with a traditional relaxed bar with lots of lovely cosy booths to eat and drink. The bar lunch we had on Sunday was lovely, Gardeners Burger a portobello mushroom stuffed with mozzarella cheese onion rings salad and pesto served in a tasty freaks brioche bun with great chips n coleslaw good value for £8.75. Good service. Veggie friendly... More

We stayed for two nights on a very foggy holiday in late October. We were surprised how busy the pub was in the evening but that did not hinder the service which was excellent. The waitress kept us well informed about any likely delay for food (which was not long) and paid our dog and us lots of attention. The... More

This Inn is in a lovely location, on the peninsular. The breakfast were very good every day and the staff very friendly. I would have rated it higher but the furniture in the bedrooms was of very poor quality, drawers falling apart etc. I know thing are done to a price but it would not take much to repair or... More

We booked on line and took a gamble but the reviews had been good. Absolutely delightful place to stay ! The whole area is lovely anyway but you still have concerns when you arrive but Sara made us feel completely at ease on Friday night and we were sorted within 5 minutes ! Free parking at the car park at... More

We stayed for two nights (6th/7th October) cannot fault the welcome, the service, or the food. Top marks to Ian and Sarah and to the "locals" who made us so welcome. An added bonus is the private entrance/exit. Sarah also made up sandwiches and juice for us as we had to leave really early. Brilliant, hope to return next year.

Stayed on a Monday night to meet up with friends & had a great evening. Food & service was good & reasonable prices. Quite busy - Monday night is quiz night & obviously popular & added to our good stay. Genuinely dog-friendly too. Room was decent size & very clean & breakfast was lovely.

A very charming, local pub with a good B&B. We stayed for one night in a clean and comfortable room. Sarah was very helpful and friendly, as for the rest of the staff! We stayed at a quiz-night which was great fun. Food and breakfast was nice as well.

I just stayed one night and had a lovely time. Ian is a brilliant landlord and has a top team supporting him. I had dinner and breakfast. Both were really good and served with a smile. Could have had slightly better quality wine, but it's a local pub and not really a problem. The room was really big and had... More

Amazing little find, we stopped for tea on a busy evening. Very helpful and jolly staff. Food lovely and my 4 yr old son catered for very well. Not too expensive either, value for money we thought. Nice menu and good selection of ales and wine. Didn't wait very long at all to order and food served very quickly
