Stopped in for dinner after and evening visit to Mevagissy - food is fantastic and good value. Staff also very friendly and welcoming. We had the scallops which were beautifully cooked in a wonderful sauce. Children had burger, lasagne and ham between them - all excellent.

We have stayed at the Ship Inn a couple of times. This time we rented a cottage near by as we had a dog with us. We stayed for a week over the Easter period. The Ship and it's staff were very welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble. Lee & Diane run a really lovely pub and would highly recommended... More

We had to visit Mevagissey for a funeral and we are so glad we decided to stay at the Ship Inn. Very welcoming, great food and friendly staff. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Would recommend and hope to visit again as soon as we can.

Very basic looking menu, but the food is amazing and really good value for money. Would recommend it for couples and families. Dog friendly too. Freshly cooked produce and fish/seafood. Had an awesome crab salad.

We had a one night break at the Ship which was randomly picked as a place to stay in Cornwall and we had a fab time. The Inn was full of character and the staff were lovely. Our room was small but very clean with a lovely en suite. The floor wasn't level but this added to the quirkiness of... More

popped in to have a pint and some lunch, it was a surprise to find this pub. It was well decorated with Xmas lights, lots of sofas and corners to sit and chat. Food was lovely and fresh. Will revisit again when I'm down that way. Staff friendly and very helpful

We asked in a local shop (and over heard others doing the same) and this place seemed to be regularly recommended. It has the feel of a long established local, even if the hosts I think were not from the region. The sunday lunch was available in 2 sizes and I think we must have had large, cos it was... More
