Had a lovely time here with the family, I loved the selection of real ale and the layout of the pub, had a great welcoming feel, great location right on the harbour. Always busy and loads of tables revered, food was delicious and reasonably priced. Great friendly service and lots to do, quizzes and music on some nights. Easily one... More

We stopped for an impromptu lunch as it was raining. The pub was cluttered but eclectic and very appealing, particularly with the little fairy lights. My husband and I had sandwiches. My crab sandwich was stuffed with delicious fresh crab. My husband had gammon ham which he said was gorgeous. The bread was lovely. The children shared nachos and ribs.... More

My husband and I walked the coast path and spent a pleasant night at The ship inn. Bright and inviting rooms with comfortable beds and newly refurbished bathrooms. A great pub as well and good breakfast! We didnt try the evening meal service.

We called today for a late lunch, it was busy but we were able to get a table. It's a lovely pub with loads of interesting pictures and sea fairing artifacts, my 11 year old was particularly interested in the picture of a male body part in the gents loo ! We all ordered steak and ale pie which came... More

Stayed here whilst visiting friends who have a caravan just outside the town. We took our dog along too. Very friendly helpful staff, made us feel very welcome. We had room 2 which was recently redecorated. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable with excellent en suite bathroom. Very clean, excellent value for money. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and... More

My husband and I had two steaks for £20 with a jug of peppercorn sauce and both steaks came with peas, onion rings and fries with a nice salad. Presented beautifully. Great value for money and the pub has a quaint ambience. We have visited on several occasions and it never disappoints.

We dropped into the ship inn because we wanted a evening meal and this establishment was "dog friendly". We ordered 4 Sirlion steaks and 2 children's meals, we weren't disappointed. The Steaks were as we expected tender and cooked as requested. The children's meals were also enjoyed. The prices were very reasonable for such a well prepared meal. Drinks were... More

Lovely old pub, but sadly the coloured light bulbs ruins the mood a bit. Food was plenty and quite cheap, but not very good quality. Steak was tough, mushrooms tasted of rancid cooking oil. So sad, because it has all the potential to be a great pub in beautiful Mevagissey. The staff was really friendly thoughl
