Very basic looking menu, but the food is amazing and really good value for money. Would recommend it for couples and families. Dog friendly too. Freshly cooked produce and fish/seafood. Had an awesome crab salad.

We had a one night break at the Ship which was randomly picked as a place to stay in Cornwall and we had a fab time. The Inn was full of character and the staff were lovely. Our room was small but very clean with a lovely en suite. The floor wasn't level but this added to the quirkiness of... More

popped in to have a pint and some lunch, it was a surprise to find this pub. It was well decorated with Xmas lights, lots of sofas and corners to sit and chat. Food was lovely and fresh. Will revisit again when I'm down that way. Staff friendly and very helpful

We asked in a local shop (and over heard others doing the same) and this place seemed to be regularly recommended. It has the feel of a long established local, even if the hosts I think were not from the region. The sunday lunch was available in 2 sizes and I think we must have had large, cos it was... More

We called in last Thursday for a pub lunch and were very impressed. The Ship is a very friendly pub and the service excellent. The fresh local crab sandwich was superb. My wife had one of the vegetarian options and as was as impressed as me.The bread and salad were incredibly fresh and everything was very well presented and served with... More

Haven't been here for about 14 years couldn't believe how a beautiful and quaint old fishing harbour and town could be destroyed and turned into a mini yuppie town with no interest about its recent times from the locals. in fact when broached the staff at the ship were quite rude and offish. For all those who can remember the... More

We stayed here for just one night and would have loved to have had the time to stay longer. The pub is clean, comfortable and and the staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. The location is perfect, just behind the harbour. I would have given it an excellent rating if it wasn't for the noise. We stayed on... More
