Booked a room at the last minute for one night and thankfully one was available. Pleasant room with an ocean view, Very comfy bed. Bathroom on the small side but perfectly adequate. Breakfast room is spectacular. Great view over the harbour and food was plentiful and varied. No hesitation to recommend.

We stayed here for three nights as base for 3 days on South West Coast Path from Place to Par. The location was great and the views stunning - see http://chrisandmikewalksouthwestcoastpath.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/south-west-coast-path-days-25-27_9447.html for some of the photos from the balcony in late Autumn sunshine. Ian and Val were great hosts - recommend Honeycombe very highly, one of the best B&Bs we... More

We loved staying here. The view from the bed (!) and from the balcony over the port and the sea is breathtaking. It was a highlight of our journey. Even the breakfast room offers spectacular views. Very friendly hosts who helped whereever they could .

We stayed for 2 nights in the Victoria room which is spotless, well equipped & very comfortable. The views from the room & balcony are panoramic & breathtaking. Ian & Val knew the visit was to celebrate my 60th birthday & had thoughtfully put a card & chocolates in our room, a nice touch. Breakfast is cooked to order &... More

Pete & Sue Wolverhampton From when we first walked into the dining room to when we left it was WOW! all the way. Albert was fantastic and Ian and Val could not have made us more welcome. The little touches made it extra special, from the bottled water, biscuits and toffees in the room every day to the umbrellas(not needed thankfully) torches... More

My parents and I stayed at Honeycombe House for 2 weeks at the end of June. We stayed in the Victoria and Albert rooms which are beautifully kept and with stunning views. Ian and Val are the perfect hosts, which is clear from the fact this was my 6th or 7th visit in as many years. I simply cannot find... More

After 7 days walking, Honeycombe is our best hotel stay yet, with a glorious view of the harbour from our room, and everything we needed. Yes, the bathrooms are small, but we managed. Owners Val and Ian were delightful helpful hosts and the breakfast was superbe. Ask for the rooms with the best views. You,ll love it, especially at 6am... More

I stayed at Honeycombe House for a short break after doing several days on the coast path and it was definitely a very relaxing place to be. Ian and Val were excellent hosts and were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. I stayed in the single room, which was clean, comfortable and with a good view across the bay. There... More
