For a period of time now we have been slowly moving away from hotels to B&Bs' and the Trennicks quantifies why we have been doing this, we stayed there for 4 nights from the 19th July 2014 to the morning of the 23rd July 2014. The trennicks is at the end of a small private lane, Tony and Claire warmly... More

We stayed for four nights in June. Warmly welcomed by Clare when we arrived. Served tea and cakes on their sundeck overlooking the harbor and town. We had a very comfortable room, spacious and clean. Clare was very helpful in recommending places to see and things to do. Tonys' breakfasts were delicious. Loved the afternoon cakes after being out sightseeing... More

Clare and Tony are excellent as hosts, chefs and guides in this very steeply hilled town. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated with views of the light house in the harbor. Modern amenities and excellent food made everything even better. Clare and Tony make all the guests very comfortable with each other, so socially all is relaxing. They are... More

We have recently stayed for a week here and can thoroughly recommend a visit. On our first day we had a warm welcome from Clare who provided us with coffee and home made cakes which were delicious. We had home made cakes every afternoon. We had the Seaview room which was lovely and as well as having a seaview we... More

We stayed for a week in June 2014 and had a lovely stay. We have fallen in love with the area. Clare and Tony are wonderful hosts. The room was beautiful with great views and breakfast was made to order fresh each morning. Fresh home-made cakes were waiting for us each afternoon. Mevagissy has lots to offer in terms of... More

A tardy review following an out of season 3 night stay. First visit to delightful Mevagissey, should have made the effort much earlier. We arrived early so the room wasn't ready but Clare let us leave our bags in the house. The ground floor room was spacious and beautifully presented, simple colours without the fussiness of some guest houses and... More

We stayed at Trennicks for a wedding nearby. Clare and Tony really went above and beyond what you could ever expect. We were picked up from the train station in St. Austell and even given a lift to the wedding nearby to save us from paying for a taxi. From a cream tea on arrival to exceptional breakfasts every morning,... More

Having just returned for the FOURTH time we would thoroughly recommend a stay at Trennicks! We love the views, the breakfasts and the homemade afternoon treats, but most of all the warm welcome we always receive from Clare and Tony. Mevagissey is renowned for its narrow, steep lanes and Trennick's elevated position gives tremendous views. Its a five minute walk... More
