Picked this partly due to the location (we visited Adrenaline Quarry) but swung by the positive reviews, and they were right! Wonderful, friendly, attentive hosts. Nice comfy bedrooms and a yummy breakfast :-) I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the area!

We stayed for one night and the accommodation was very good, it is close to the railway but that did not affect our stay. Chris and Rob were very friendly and helpful, and keep a good selection of beers and malts :). Our experience of The Hay Loft Restaurant was not very positive and we were made to feel very... More

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review - it's a shame that your experience at The Hayloft maybe influenced the score you gave us! We do very clearly tell people that we do not offer evening meals, we are simply a traditional pub with B&B ;-) More

Stayed here for one night on our way to the Lizard in Cornwall. Excellent accommodation and good breakfast and all spotlessly clean. Landlady very nice. Very good restaurant called 'The Hay Loft' a few hundred yards away. Although the railway line is very close to the accommodation, it did not keep us awake - in fact we hardly noticed it.

Thank you both very much - we're glad you had a comfortable stay. A note for anyone reading this.....Location - I see we lost a mark here(!)...... location is personal to the visitor, so if you are looking to visit Adrenalin Quarry, then we get a 10/10, but if you have booked to stay here and need to be somewhere... we stayed here for 2 nights on our way back to the Midlands after touring Devon / Cornwall. Whilst it is not a 'hotel' the rooms shamed many of the hotels we stayed in. Breakfasts were superb and the hospitality of Rob and Chris was second to none- thanks from Tony & Kath

Room was large with a lovely bathroom too. Our breakfast was lovely and set us up for the day. Even though we only stayed two nights we were... More
