After we'd booked this hotel, we wondered if we'd made a mistake, as we were concened that the hotel might be child-friendly at the expense of adults. We needn't have worried, as the hotel seems to be equally appealing to both couples and families. There are loads of kids clubs, but if you're travelling as a couple, the children are... more

The ideal choice if you are a slightly stressed parent with toddlers in tow. The most child friendly hotel I've stayed at with creches for three different age groups, evening entertainment for the kids, theirown seprate restuarant and a view over a spectacular beach (ironically the austere facade of the hotel itself is the only real blot on the landscape).... more

I will start with saying that given how popular the hotel is and its price then I have given it a two star rather than one as it obviously suits some people and this is my opinion. The experience. For our experience I would give it a 1 star. We have travelled and yes to some of the most fabulous... more

We stayed at this hotel in September 2007. Due to its popularity, they could only fit us in for five nights around the time that we requested. Our three year old had a fabulous experience, the soft play area, swimming pools, outdoor play area, evening entertainment and beach were all fantastic. It was great to have such a child-friendly hotel.... more

It's nearly a year since we last had a break at Bedruthan Steps Hotel and it still remains a good place for young families to visit and unwind. The food in the restaurant has improved from last year but the service is still unpredicatable. We complained to hotel management the second night because of the attitude of some of the... more

Hi, we stayed at the Bedruthan Steps Hotel last weekend. It promised to be child friendly and somewhere the children were put first. We did not feel this at all. The breakfast was extremley basic, hardly any fresh fruit for the children and the toast was burnt. A little boy hurt himself on the coffee making machine in the main... more

We stayed for the weekend in April out of school holidays with two children aged 8 and 5. Room: very good with 2 lovely beds with cotton sheet for the children and a great King Size bed for us. Fantastic sea view - don't get a room without it! Restaurant: Loved it! The adults dinner was great and the staff... more

We stayed at Bedruthan Steps during the April half term break . We had read previous reviews which describe Bedruthan Steps as a haven for parents and their children, I can only say that we were not disappointed. Bedruthan Steps does children very well, they are able to relax throughout the hotel. The beach is on the doorstep. The spa... more

I booked this hotel for a last minute weekend getaway with my wife and 18 month old daughter. First comment would be that it wasn't especially easy to find on the internet and they might need to better optimise their web-site for internet search engines. That said, they are apparently very busy all year round so maybe they don't need... more

We'd just had our third child, so wanted a break from the routine which isn't easy when you've already got a 2 and a 4 year old in tow. This place was superb - it doesn't look much from the outside, but once inside you realise it's perfect for kids. There's a central bar come seating area with a huge... more
