We chose the Bedruthan Steps as our venue for a teachers conference we were running because of the incredibly inspiring view and commanding position the hotel has looking over the beach at Mawgan Porth. We were definitely not disappointed... We all arrived the evening before to set up; we checked in efficiently and was helped speedily with any minor issues... more

The hotel was a perfect venue for our teacher conference. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating and the relaxing hotel environment was very welcome afterwards. The spa was amazingly chilled and the food was delicious. Will definitely be staying there again. more

We had our conference here, we chose Bedruthan due to location, quality of destination experience, attention to detail and a great all inclusive per head deal. This included the venue, 80 delegates, buffet style lunch and use of spa and pool facilities. It was a great success and I'd recommend this as a venue of choice in Cornwall. more

We had a last minute booking during the peak holiday season so there was only a rear view room available that might be seen as a disadvantage. This did not matter however because the room and bed were extremely comfortable and who would want to spend a long time in the room when all the public areas of the hotel... more

I stayed at the hotel on a party night with colleagues, not my choice but the reviews looked good. Hotel was aesthetically very good. Food ok, traditional Christmas fayre... But the service was incredibly poor. We saw one member of staff we would assume was a manager (suited, looked a bit like Jon Favreau?) arguing with members of staff in... more

We thought we were in for a real treat after reading all the glowing reviews/awards this Hotel has won. All I can say is it's tatty, food is the worst I have ever eaten (the kids refused to eat - it was that bad we had to take them for a cooked meal somewhere else at lunchtime. We had a... more

A fantastic family holiday. September 2009 with our 2 year old son, his two year old cousin and her parents. Superb location over looking the beach and bay, only 10 mins from Newquay Airport. Hotel looks a bit dated (they call it ‘iconic in its day’) but it’s not a problem. Inside is just fine. We had excellent family room... more

I stayed stayed at Bedruthan Steps Hotel to celebrate my birthday along with my fiance who decided it was a good idea to treat me to a massage in the Ocean Spa. From the moment we walk through the entrance everything was perfect, ignore previous reviews regarding difficulty in finding reception clearly indicted at every point. Greeted by friendly staff... more

We have visited Bedruthan twice now with out two children who are under 3. I have to say that it works on all levels (literally). Loads of activity to keep the kids happy in both the cooler or hotter times of the year and plenty of opportunity for parents to spend time alone in full knowledge that the kids are... more

Lovely hotel with fantastic facilities for children and great staff. We had a very enjoyable stay there. There is little to criticise but three little points worth making (1) I think that they do themselves a major diservice using the yellow net curtains on the windows of some of the rooms - they look depressing and don't do the front... more
