This is a lovely hotel with superb beach views. You can easily walk to the beach and to the coastal path. The rooms we had was a double and quite cramped but comfortable and modern. We had a lovely meal in the Herring restaurant with a no children policy after 8pm. The food was superb and there is a good... More

We have been to this hotel every year for the past 5 years. Once in July (it rained) but after that, in October half term, when it's a great time to go whatever the weather. I can honestly say is one of the best family hotels we ever stayed. There are so much to do, in and out of the... More

We have stayed at the hotel 4 times now and it continues to be one of our favourite places. Our other children are grown up so I just took our daughter (10) . We both loved our stay and there is a lot to do at the hotel and at the beach. We stayed in a non sea view room... More

This hotel has wonderful views overlooking Magan Porth beach. I have visited Mawgan Porth many times and only recently stayed in Bedruthan as a treat during spring. The best rooms are on the top floor and to the right of the hotel giving fantastic views over the beach and sea. The sun streams into the bedrooms and warms up during... More

Ran out of fingers to count the times we have stayed here. With two children growing up the hotel still suits us and we keep coming back. The staff are just lovely, the spa is a haven, the rooms are well kept, the childcare is very good indeed, food is super, entertainment is just right but that view.....priceless!

We have been here four times now, and it's always been an excellent family holiday. The kids' clubs are great, and our eleven year-old's interests and needs were very well met. The overall hotel facilities are superb. Everything is clean, smart and comfortable. We also appreciate how as much as possible is made environmentally sustainable. All the staff were welcoming,... We booked a table for a family roast recently and really enjoyed the recently refurbished restaurant and fantastic facilities. They present the food in large serving plates for you to dish out, generous quantities of perfectly cooked and high quality meats and a selection of veg that suits everyone's palate. Same for deserts, all deserts on the menu arrive and... More

We have just returned from Bedruthan Steps on our first family holiday there. The overall message is pretty good with only minor niggles. We visited in peak school summer holidays so unsurprisingly probably over 50% of the customers were families with very young children. The restaurant and facilities (child menu options and sittings for early supper) seem perfect for this... More

Upon arrival at the hotel, it'd be easy to think that it is out-dated, lacking in personality. That is, until you enter the hotel, to see a decorative masterclass, including funky rooms, and a lovely cafe and restaurant. The rooms aren't spectacular, but offer everything you'd need for a short break. I was particularly pleased to find a fan in... More

If you want a hotel in Cornwall that is designed for families with children up to around age 6 then look no further. Bedrooms are fairly standard but the modern bright decor gives them a nice touch. Avoid rooms overlooking the car park if possible as there can be noise. If your children are older it can be a little... More
