My wife and I were invited to stay with our daughter, her husband and two boys in the "Granary" a few weeks ago, they have been to Tredethick before and were so impressed that they invited us this time. We had a wonderful holiday, feeding the animal ,swimming, playing cricket on the football field and visiting local places. I believe... More

We stayed in Hayloft for a week in May. This was our first visit to Tredethick, although we have stayed in a very similar style accommodation nearby previously. The cottage is equipped very well, with all essentials provided for the children - cot / high chair / black out blinds etc. The cottage was very nicely presented, spacious and clean. The... More

The whole family really enjoyed our stay. Our kids (two and four) loved the animal feeding and pony rides. Farmer Tim and Farmer Jenny did an amazing job of making each child feel involved. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. The facilities are first rate, making the weather irrelevant when it comes to keeping the kids amused. We... More

An amazing place to go on holiday with a young child. We've stayed in Liddicoat (September 2014) and Granary (May 2015). Both cottages were lovely and very well equipped. There's so much to keep the kids busy here, and one of the best things was that our little 4 year old girl made some lovely new friends. Because the cottages... More

Can't speak highly enough of Tredethick, it is really great for small kids. The animal feeding every morning with farmer Tim was a great highlight and my daughter loved it, particularly collecting eggs and pony riding (which we did twice). There is so much here to keep kids entertained when the weather isn't great (soft play, great swimming pool, play... More

We had a good time staying here and the animal feeding was fun. However the cottage we stayed in was dated. The sofas need changing and there is a requirement for better lighting. Also the bathroom needs more thought and the shower was so small it was impossible to pick the shower gel up once one was in. I really... More

We were looking for something special for an anniversary looking as far as booking a villa in the Med. But we went to Tredethick on the basis that if the kids are happy then we'll have a better holiday too. We're very happy we did, it was brilliant. Our 3 year old bounced between the soft play room (with coffee... More

Firstly, it has to be said that this place is amazing for young kids. There is plenty to do and farmer Tim is great. Now... The pool facilities are 5*, but are heavily abused by (some!) locals. We entered the pool to be greeted by what could only be described as a pack of animals. The tables and chairs we... More

We're delighted that you felt Tredethick was amazing for young children and that you rate the pool facilities five star. However we were very concerned to read that you had a bad experience when visiting the pool and would like to sincerely apologise for the incident. We have a small local membership and this is the first time we have... More

We recently spent a fantastic and ultra-relaxing weekend at Tredethick (no mean feat with a six-year-old in tow). The cottage (Liddicoat) was gorgeous – huge, light, warm and fabulously equipped (think Dualit toasters and fluffy white bathrobes). We arrived a bit too late to eat the cream tea waiting for us but enjoyed scoffing it the next day. Animal feeding... More

Like all the other reviewers we had an amazing week at Tredethick! The facilities are excellent including the indoor pool, play ground, play barn and soft play. All were well looked after, clean and maintained. The coffee / hot chocolate / tea in the soft play room was brilliant as were the newspapers / magazines. The fact that several of... More
