Having just returned from a two night stay,my wife and I found the hotel excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless, which included a spacious en suite with a super corner shower and seperate bath .The room also had tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits were provided too!(daily). There was also a flat screen television with freeview. The... more

The bed bed sheets didnt fit the bed - they were both too narrow and too short - uncomfortable nights ensued! Two incidents 1) very hot towel rail next to light switch - burnt my arm turing light on and husband burnt his arm getting a towel! 2) husand banged his head on the grab rail next to the bath... more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights from 14th to 16th October. We got a deal through lastminute.com for £59 for the two of us with breakfast which we thought was too good to be true. Having read the reviews we went with an open mind, not expecting too much. We were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in... more

I really wanted to like this hotel but. unfortunately there were too many negative aspects. To start with the plus points: Very friendly staff Good location Very clean Good sized room with everything needed including free wi-fi. Now for the 'buts'. The walls were paper thin. You could hear everything in the adjacent rooms and bathrooms, so unless you are... more

We stayed at this hotel at the end of July and had a few misgivings about other reviews of this establishment. Rest assurred as an experienced world traveller this hotel is just fine with very pleasant staff. The dinning room is very nice and breakfast was good because you could eat as little or as much as you liked. The... more

This hotel is NOT one that I would recommend. The room we were allocated was very small. Between the bed side and window the width was approx 2ft and when the wardrobe doors were open which was at the foot of the bed nobody could pass--you were trapped down the side of the bed. We complained about the size of... more

Like most of the posts on this site we found the hotel well above average from our contact in booking to the welcome when we arrived. We were offered a very good deal for a double room and adjacent single for our Grandson. The food was good and the restaurant staff were very attentive, as for having to wait ages... more

Nothing against this hotel But nothing for it either! Hotel was clean and tidy and nothing objectionable. The room was clean and tidy too, but bedroom was small and a little cramped. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing to feel enthusaistic about. Staff were really helpful and pleasant. more

The Restormel Lodge Hotel is well placed to travel around Cornwall (and indeed into Devon), without being in an area that has been spoilt by people wishing to make a 'fast buck' out of tourists. On arriving we were greeted by friendly staff (who offered to carry our bags!) and shown to a spacious, clean room. The dining room had... more
