While backpacking through the UK I found myself in a bind whilst in Lostwithiel. I entered the kings arms and, aside from being welcomed by a warm, atmospheric pub downstairs, I was helped with all my problems by the kind staff. I would recommend Lostwithial as a town to pass through but, more so, I would recommend staying in their... More

My husband and I stayed at the kings arms for a week while holidaying in Cornwall. I highly recommend this little local B&B. Owners Kath & Mick are lovely & friendly. Lovely friendly staff. Dennis was Very helpful when owners weren't around and can all advise with local info. This B&B is situated on top of a little pub with... More

What a pleasant 2 days stay we had at the Kings Arms. Warm hospitality, great variety at breakfast, large, airy room, comfortable bed, excellent water pressure shower, quality shampoo and conditioner and nice biscuits too. Thank you both for a very pleasant stay. We would definitely recommend. The only downsides were having to access our room via the pub entrance... More

Stayed for one night. Very friendly and welcoming staff and general atmosphere, we asked to check in early and it was not a problem. The room was very nice and bed was extremely comfortable. Very good nights sleep and a really nice breakfast as well. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we were ever in the area.

A large group of us were staying in Lostwithiel for a hen party, we popped in on a Saturday afternoon not realising that the Grand National was on, within 5 minutes of us entering the building the locals were buying the hen drinks and giving her a ticket for the sweep stake! The staff and locals were so lovely and... More

We went to the Kings Arms on Saturday evening to listen to the band Cold Feet. The band was very good. Unfortunately for the band there were only a handful of locals and a couple of tourists, which was a shame for the band as it didn't provide a good atmosphere. They were only playing to there group of friends.... More

Stayed at Kings Arms a few years ago while visiting The Eden Project. Loved it, the owner even let me keep my motorcycle inside during the night. Althrough there's a pub downstairs, I don't remember it being noisy. The bed was comfy and the room was cosy. Excellent!
