Michael and Babs were wonderful hosts and the room was very clean and comfortable for our two night stay. Breakfasts are unbelievable, with Michael cooking a multitude of choices. They booked a guided tour of both Heligan Gardens and the Eden Project for us which proved to be well worth it - David was an amusing and well-informed guide. We... More

We had a 2 night stay in August 2014. It is located brilliantly with easy access to all corners of Cornwall and there are plenty to see and do nearby. It was super clean and tidy and quiet. The breakfast selection was amazing and certainly fit for royalty. The hosts Michael and Babs were very kind and welcoming, respectful and... More

4 of us were lucky to find this by accident when we were planning to visit the Eden project and booked it in January for a May visit. The nearest to staying with old friends as we were made to feel at home. Excellent accommodation and the trip arranged with David as our guide was a great help with our... More

Thankyou so much Ivan for taking the trouble to submit a review; it really is very much appreciated and it was a great pleasure to look after you all. Booking for friends is always a risk so Babs and I are delighted that it worked out for you! All the best, Michael. More

My husband, Brian, and I have just returned from a visit to the Old Chapel. We opted for the 3 day Eden break and added an extra couple of nights on. Babs & Michael are the very best of hosts - very welcoming, yet inobtrusive, and very kind. We had the room at the front of the house, with a... More

A charming old Wesleyan chapel run by attentive owners Michael and Babs. The accommodation was immaculate, the breakfasts were wonderful, and the location was ideal for a visit to the Eden Project. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and can thoroughly recommend the Old Chapel.

Wild, windy December, a week before Christmas! The warmth of our welcome and the superb accommodation was in great contrast to the weather. Spotless, comfortable 'quirky' room with a four poster bed could not have been better and we slept like lords! The breakfast menu was most impressive and the fact that all the produce offered was sourced locally should... More

We stayed at the The Old Chapel for three nights and it was brilliant. Michael and Babs could not do enough for you and the breakfasts are out of this world with a very big choice on the menu. If you need a guide then David is your man and Michael and Babs will help you get in touch with... More
