After getting the train to Lostwithiel and walking to Lerryn we stopped off in here after it started to rain. We had already eaten some lovely pasties from Lostwithiel so just went for a few pints on a Saturday afternoon. The pub was bright, clean but still retained a traditional pub feel with slate floors and real fire. The ales... More

My friend and I booked into the ship for a 2 day break in Cornwall for a Sunday and Monday evening. Immediately greeted with a friendly welcome and so were my dogs. Dinner was prepared for us. Fish and chips. Some huge fresh haddock were brought to us to see and then filleted in front of us at the bar.... More

My husband noticed a sign for the pub after we had visited an antique fair in Lostwithiel and what a lucky find it was, lovely atmosphere and two Sunday roasts were very tasty. The bar maid was very friendly and served us quickly, The pub feels like an old fisher mans pub and there was a guy singing live which... More

We had a great night at the pub for my husbands 30th birthday- Ronni and Johnny were great hosts and provided a lovely curry buffet for our family - the food was amazing and the whole family enjoyed it! Thank you for letting me put decorations up - it was a great evening!!!! :-)

Met with some friends for lunch and what a pleasant surprise, a great friendly atmosphere with a warm and inviting feel. The menu selection is fine for lunch but the quality was excellent we had cheese ploughman and ham sandwiches, the bread was very fresh, the plates were well presented with plenty of variety within the salad including gherkins and... What a fantastic place this is which made our holiday in beautiful Lerryn even better. The food is top class trying their delicious lemon sole, spinach & chickpea burger, there renowned fish and chips and much more. You are greeted by one of the best barmaids you will find (Sam) who provides wonderful service with a smile and Ronnie &... More

Friends took us to The Ship Inn, Lerryn, Cornwall . We might never have found it otherwise. We had a great meal. Friendly staff. Were able to park nearby. The Mackeral was delicious, as was the Crab, and also the ham! This could be told by the empty plates! We went mid week, and it wasn't full, but a great... More

The Ship Inn is close to the car park next to the river Lerryn in the centre of the village. A traditional pub with a conservatory. The staff are very friendly and the food is traditional fare. The fish dishes are very good and meat is sourced locally. They serve very good cider including one produced locally just outside the... More

Having visited several times during our 2wk stay in lerryn as it was convenient I was rather disappointed with the food as many of the dishes were very bland, I also felt they were over priced. The bar/eating area was in need of a makeover, the carpet certainly needs replacing. The staff were very friendly and helpful though.
