Birgitte was lovely, as soon as we arrived she was at the door to greet us and couldn't do enough to make sure your stay was comfortable. The room was very nice if not a little small. The bathroom was fully equipped with shower gels/shampoo/hand wash, so for anyone whose not fussy about what skin care products they use, this... More

Visited Helston for a three day stay to coincide with our wedding anniversary and Flora Day festivities and had the good fortune to be directed towards the Mandeley B&B. I can only reiterate what has been said by other guests who have posted on this site. You can be certain of a warm and friendly welcome, spotlessly clean and well... More

My friend and I stayed at Mandeley Guest House over Easter 2015. We picked Mandeley for two reasons, it looked very nice from the research that I did online and for the fact that it is very close to where my parents live in Helston. The room we stayed in was called 'Jamaica Inn', it was very clean and was... More

Hello there. Thank you for your very valued feedback and taking the time to do so. In the past we have used UHT milk pots but found that nothing beats fresh milk. On arrival, we always offer milk but during our guests stay we have relied on them requesting milk. We never felt it being a problem since it is... More

The outstanding welcome from Burgitt the co-owner is well matched with the truly amazing top quality comfort of the accommodation. The cleanliness of the ensuite facilities is the best I have experienced away from home - although it was refurbished some time ago with quality products, the condition of the facilities are so well maintained its still like new! Access... More

Room was comfortable and really liked the bathroom (massive shower room which was nice). Parking was a little tight, but it was never an issue. Breakfast was good, however, it would have been nice to sit on our own, we had to sit at a large table with the rest of the guests making small talk. TV was a little... More

Stayed here with a work colleague for 3 nights. As others have mentioned the service was superb throughout. It is more akin to a Hotel but with the friendliness of a B&B. Easy walking distance into town and opposite a Tesco should you need anything from a supermarket. Although it was on a main road there was no noise at... More

We have just returned from 4 nights staying at what has to be the finest B&B we have ever experienced. From the initial friendly greeting, to the high quality of the room and en suite shower room, Birgitt and Paul offer a 5 star B&B experience. Then there is the best breakfast that will set you up for the day.... More

In the words of Daphne herself - "Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again..." A first class bed and breakfast more akin to hotel standards. Very comfortable, immaculately clean, and excellent breakfast. It was an advantage having the separate guest entrance. Ideally located for The Lizard and South West Cornwall and perfect position for exploring Helston by foot.

This has got to be the best B&B we have stayed in! The standard of the room was excellent and there are extra little touches you expect to get in really good hotels (but often don't!). Great selection of hot drinks in the room as well as really good biscuits and spring water. The breakfasts were delicious. We also liked... More
