We booked for the one night, in a family room, to be able to start our holiday early. Hotel was clean and comfy, kids loved it as it was their first time in a hotel. Facilities were good, we were told to take extra tea and coffee etc if needed, staff very friendly and helpful. Worth a visit 😉

Ok its a Travelodge and its a budget hotel and a lot are the same. Which is what you want as you know that when you arrive you will get a room with a comfy bed. Lost a few points as there was no shower gel in the dispenser. (luckily I visit a lot of hotels so always have some... More

It's true. You get what you pay for and we didn't pay a lot to get a room for 2 adults and one child. We wanted the room to sleep in and shower/bath in while we were touring around Cornwall. It was fine, basic, functional but it's just ouside St Ives and it was Bank Holiday week in August and... More

Cons: Tatty and tired looking Travelodge (despite apparently being refurbished). Upstairs rooms stiflingly hot (not particularly warm period of weather). Orange streetlight shining into room through the curtain. No fridge or air-conditioning. Pedestal fan provided. No extractor fan in bathroom, so it quickly fogs up and becomes damp. No lifts, so if you have small kids or lots of luggage,... More

Use this travelodge for an overnight stay before travelling on to the Scilly Isles. Welcome ok and friendly, bed clean and tidy - but room very sparse and very dusty. Shower curtain in the bathroom was dirty and smelt very damp. There was only 1 chair in the room despite it being a double room so one of us had... More

Stayed for one night before catching the ferry in Penzance. Room clean, bed good, bathroom good BUT no where to put your clothes . OK, there were shelves and hanging space in the romm but there was only one chair and that was it. Plenty of wide open space in the room but nothing to put your clothes on.

Accommodation was clean and comfortable and our room (101) looked out over fields and was very quiet. We stayed mid-week for one night so there may be more internal noise at weekends when it is busier. We were flying to the Isles of Scilly from St. Just airport so it was very convenient.

Travelodge, the place you go when Premier Inn is full. Ought to be their slogan really. Staff not rude but don't go out of their way to help. Beds hard. Towels scratchy. No extra pillows available. It was Bank Holiday weekend so 'fully priced'. It's not bad but should be your last resort.
