We have always wanted to go to Cormwall but the price has been the barrier - last November when looking at the following years options I struck on an idea of a tour using Travelodge as the accomodation. We managed to get 13 nights for the same price as 4 nights at a popular caravan site , which may sound... More

Stayed for 3 nights and was a basic what we needs. The travelodge is in a good location to explore countryside in Cornwalls such as Marazion, Felmouth, portreath, Hell mouth, Penzance, St Ives and the surrounding area. when stay there, make sure get a rooms on the 2nd floor instead and you will be have a good sleep at night... Stayed here one night prior to going to the Scillies. Room basic but clean. Light in the bathroom flickered desperately. Disturbed night by traffic noise and people talking loudly outside our bedroom window.

The travelodge was basic but adequate for our needs. There was no air con which meant that the room was far too hot, a fan was provided which helped but was still too hot at night for our liking. We were checked in promptly but I thought it was a bit inappropriate for the receptionist to tell us not to... More

My family and I stayed in the Travelodge in Hayle this weekend. It is hidden away behind the Shell garage so that threw us off the scent for a mile but once there the staff were very helpful. We arrived early and were able to leave our car in the free car park while we went to see family staying... More

Had a couple of nights stay while visiting family camping nearby in Gwythian. Ideally placed off the A30 and within easy reach of St Ives and other attractions in the area. Rooms were very clean and tidy, beds incredibly comfy. No air con but a fan was in the room and was fine. Despite being right by the very busy... More

Stayed for 2 nights only. As the weather was so hot the rooms very absolutely roasting..! We received a note to suggest that a clean had been undertaken, but I know this was not the case as the bathroom was dirty, and an early check in was paid for. Staff very friendly and helpful. The location was very useful for... More

Easy to locate and although basic the rooms have everything you need because there is a bed, a kettle and key card. The rest of the time you are out and about. It is a great base for visiting Sennon, St Ives, Zennor, St Just, Mounts Bays and of course just a short trip up to the Lizard. No noise... More

The staff are very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a slight smell coming from the drains or plumbing. We stayed for 1 night in room 109, which was not too bad for road noise, and nice and cool in the afternoon and evening, as the front rooms have the sun.

Stayed on two separate occasions for close proximity to Penzance. Both times there were major road diversions due to construction. First time only had a shower which was disappointing and both times the bathrooms smelled of urine which was very unpleasant. Rooms were clean enough but beds and pillows were too hard. This place is ok for one nite but... More
