My husband planned a couple of nights here for my 30th birthday, just before Christmas. I grew up in the country, so I enjoyed the winding drive through the Cornish lanes. On first sight as you drive in, the overall impression is fairly nondescript, but as soon as you go in to the hotel there is a beautiful lobby (with... More

We've just returned from a weekend away at this lovely hotel. The room was immaculate with a huge bed and a sea view. Perfect. The staff were really welcoming especially the resteraunt manageress who looked after us really well. It was so nice to see local youngsters being employed too. Lovely young people. The food was superb both evening meals... More

We stayed here for New Years Eve and what a fantastic stay we had. The room was beautiful, faultless. Our room was very large, with sofa seating area and plenty of room for clothes and storage. Large bathroom with both double ended bath a large walk in shower. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced, in particular as it... More

Went to the Llawnroc for a meal with a guest from South Africa. The food, service and ambience were all excellent. Our guest was blown away by the sophisticated menu and the quality of the meal. A really excellent evening.

Best hotel I've ever stayed in amazing staff were great food amazing just simply amazing. Highly recommend a stay but stay away from A2b taxis as they will rip you off. The beach is literally a stone throw away perfect in every way.

Lovely hotel, great location. The staff were very obliging and the food was really good, Hope to return in the summer. The beach is very accessible and the village is quaint. Ideal for a romantic break.

Gorran Haven is a picturesque and unspoiled fishing village a great place to unwind. Really pleased with the hotel, we received a warm welcome and our room contained extras normally reserved for four and five star hotels e.g. Bathrobes, water, locally made fudge and upmarket teabags to boot! We will definitely be going back.

I have been to a few wedding functions but this was poor. The food was terrible. I had garlic bread to start, which didn't even taste anything like garlic. Then steak for main which I couldn't eat as I wasn't asked how I would like it cooked and it was to rare for me.my 2 year old son didn't eat... More

Just returned from a four day stay at The Llawnroc Hotel, Gorran Haven. The location is in a small Cornish fishing village far from the madding crowd. All the staff are really lovely and made us feel so welcome. We loved the informality of the restaurant and the great food (scallops are delicious) and the puddings were double delicious. Breakfast... More
