During our recent visit which we paid £758 for three nights bed and breakfast. We were disappointed to find big stains on the carpet in the room (room number 5) and were constantly disturbed by a slamming door beneath our room due to a faulty door closer. This kept us awake to the early hours. The double bed was two... More

My son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren stayed for 2 weeks in Gorran Haven during July / August; we joined them for the second week. They had visited the Llawnroc a few days before and booked a table in the restaurant for 5pm on Saturday 1st August as we were celebrating a family birthday; specifically they asked if the children (1½ and... Beautiful Hotel, probably the most immaculate interior of any hotel I've stayed in. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Location is lovely, although Gorran Haven is a little out of the way but well worth the travelling if your looking for piece, quiet and amazing beaches (when tide in out).

The owner has obviously spent a lot of money on this hotel. The staff were attentive and pleasant and I do not have any gripes in this area. Gorran Haven is a small cornish fishing village with a nice small working beach at the bottom of the hill. Remember, if you want loud and brash go to Newquay. That said,... More

Nice location but lacking atmosphere, it always seems deserted, the food is below average at an above average price. It's up for sale so hopefully the new owners will add a bit more life to the place.......

I arrived here ready and willing to give this hotel 5 stars, by the time I left I was ready to give it one star! I've compromised with 3 stars - but buyer beware! Pros: Very modern and spotlessly clean, air-conditioning, incredibly super comfortable beds (superking size), great staff, reasonable restaurant, very reliable internet, near the water with sea views.... Hotel, accommodation, management, staff, food, service all faultless. From Jess in the restaurant and the rest of the dining room and bar staff to Sarah and colleagues at reception to Steve the manager, they all helped us enjoy a perfect stay. Great location to explore other parts of Cornwall or relax in the lounge or bar or garden terrace of... More

Had a disappointing few days stay, room was nice, all boutique and clean but that's about where it ends. The staff seemed uninterested and impersonal except for a lady called Tyne on the main counter, she was so nice. Food was poor, small portions and tasteless and cost nearly £60 for three of us for bar snacks! The hotel is... More

After a mixed visit at Easter we were very hopeful of our visit tonight. We weren't disappointed 😄 tonight the staff were excellent, the food fantastic and the portions massive. I had the mushroom risotto - it was yummy! The pannacotta for dessert was fabulous. The other people in my party had fish and they were also very pleased -... More
