Superb when we came in July last year, this year service was awful, food still lovely, when our order was eventually taken after more than an hour of waiting, shame only half of what we ordered was correct. Gorgeous setting, stunning interior, sadly you have let yourself down with poor service and i cant see our family of 6 coming... More

Stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday with my wife, the location is fantastic, 2 minutes from the sandy beaches and beautiful coastal walks. The hotel itself has all the makings of a 5 star rating, but is sadly let down by inexperienced staff. Although friendly, none of the problems we encountered were rectified. We asked for double... Pros – newly renovated contemporary rooms, fantastic food, free English breakfast (and was the best we had during 2 week trip around England), small village/beach nearby, nice big outdoor patio , courteous staff, free parking Cons – Noisy in hallways (thin walls), only young people running the hotel who didn’t seem to know the answers to questions and no management... I live locally and have benn to the Llawnroc a few times in the past couple of years and found the food very good. I came with my family for my birthday on 31 July, the duck was tough, the fish was tasteless, the lobster and crab were good. Very worried as Ihad already booked for 14 ladies to have... More

We have eaten here many times before and was really looking forward to our meal but was extremely disappointed. The starter was ok but huge! The main course as tasteless bland covered in butter and almost came with a entire loaf of bread!! We were promised the fish was fresh when questioned and viewed our disappointment half the plates were... More

plenty of parking, greeted on arrival, given the menus in the bar area so we could chose while having a drink. Excellent front of house service. The bar man went out of his way to make me a drink that was not readily available. When the food was ready we were showed to our seats in the restaurant by the... More

Went for a meal in the restaurant as non-residents, our food was lovely as were the staff that served us. I had the lobster ravioli which had so much shellfish on it was fantastic. Unbelievably someone on the table behind us sent it back as there wasn't enough pasta!!! At the end of the meal we booked a taxi with... More

We visited for a 13:30 booking for 4 persons on Sunday 3rd August. Prices for Sunday Lunch are fixed at £20 for 2 courses (main and starter or dessert ) We were seated promptly and there was plenty of room in the restaurant as not many people were dining. Oddly there was no Roast Beef option,or Lamb or Chicken/Turkey -... More

We thought this was a very very nice hotel, hidden in a tiny fishing village. The staff were all amazing always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good, particularly the fish and shellfish. Beautifully decorated, very chic. It is quite tricky to find - thank goodness for satnav, but so worth the effort.

We visited Llawnroc about two weeks ago. Thank goodness we had sat nav as we’d probably not have found it. It was nestled in a wonderful location overlooking the sea (the bits you could see around the side of the huge tree). The welcome was a little strained I think the manager was flustered about something and after a short... More
