We stayed at the fairbank the last weekend in august. We loved the location, stunning views of the sunset from the conservatory, brilliant access to the coastal footpath, easy walk in to the village for pub dinners, sandy beach nearby. Fabulous breakfast. Really good hosts. We could not ask for more.

Thank you for your comments here on Trip Advisor, the sunsets from the Fairbank Hotel are indeed stunning and sometimes quite unbelievable for the colours that are generated. We are glad you were able to experience the sunsets and enjoy the view which, whatever the weather, is always quite mesmerizing and special. More

We stayed for four nights at the end of August/start of September. We had a room overlooking the sea "Lusty Glaze". From assisting me to picking a room when booking and making sure flowers ordered from the local florist were placed in our room we were well looked after by owners Paul and Elaine. The room whilst not big was... More

We spent a week at Fairbanks Hotel in August and enjoyed it very much. The rooms were spotless and well appointed with great views over Crantock Bay. Paul and Elaine are attentive and considerate hosts and were on hand with helpful and relevant advice. Breakfasts were served quickly and to a high standard with plenty of choice. The weather for... It is great to find yet another good review on trip advisor and it certainly makes our efforts worthwhile when we see people have enjoyed their stay. We source our breakfast ingredients locally and it certainly rewards us with the comments we get back from our guests about the quality and taste. Shame we can't control the weather but we... More

From booking the short break on the telephone, I knew it was going to be nothing but a good experience. A really polite, helpful, and professional attitude. Followed up by an email confirmation. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left this morning, the owners Paul and Elaine, (including their daughter), couldn't have been any more pleasant or... More

The Fairbank Hotel is a traditional English hotel in the very best sense. The hosts are welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is upbeat yet calming. We stayed for just one night on our way to an apartment we had rented for a long weekend. We had dinner at the hotel and my dad has a dairy allergy and they... More

It's kind of on a road to nowhere so very quiet location. Short stroll from Crantock beach which is a gem. Welcome is warm, rooms are clean and well equipped and the breakfast is delicious. Rooms at the back have a view over the beach.

We are lucky with our 'road to nowhere' which is quiet, but actually leads to some of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall and easy access to the coastal path. Crantock beach is very special and just a short stroll from our front door with, as you say, stunning views of this lovely beach from the conservatory and bedrooms. Thank... More

Convenient location, plentiful parking, friendly and sociable owners, beautiful gardens and sea views from bar and breakfast areas. Comfiest bed and good hot shower. Good choice of breakfast and plentiful portions. Girlie plus: lots of cotton wool in the room!
