A good place This is a friendly pub and made us feel most welcome. The food was absolutely excellent and the portions very substantial. Catered nicely for a large group (pre-booked) and treated us really well. The day was good, everything else very satisfactory, overall a good experience. We will definitely come here again. No more needs to be said…

A few walked by and looked, unfortunately they did not even acknowledge we were even stood there! Eventually the owner checked... More

This hotel is a gem. The food was excellent, the staff were excellent nothing was to much trouble. The room was lovely. Everything you wanted was there. View from the window was amazing. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. We hopefully will b stopping there again.

Possibly the friendliest place we've stayed in - especially when you have a 4-legged companion in tow. The Christmas lunch was beautifully cooked, the portions hearty (especially the pavlova) and the service attentive. The rooms are beautifully renovated with exposed stone walls, calm colours and great attention to detail - even if the sign in one room encouraged reckless behaviour!... More

Booked here while visiting family in nearby torpoint and stayed for one night. On arrival manager was very friendly and helped us to the room with bags, informed us they serve food all day in the restaurant. I stayed in room 8 which was in seperate building than main hotel. Room was very large and comfortable, was a bit chilly... More

We used the Liscawn as a venue to provide lunch after our childrens christening. The manager was so accommodating, kind and helpful. They set up the room as per our specifications, provided excellent food, and were really accommodating to our requests. Excellent place for children and adults with lovely food-providing value for money. We would highly recommend.
