Have just returned from a six day break at this lovely country house hotel. The owners made us feel very welcome and had lots of shared stories with Roger over drinks in the bar. This is an ideal location to explore the surrounding area. Port Isaac is beautiful and we were lucky to see the filming of Doc Martin there.... More

Want a hotel where the owner and his wife take excellent care of their guests? Then come here, had a super 6 days here. Good food with breakfast cooked fresh each time, no hot plate dry outs. Good well stocked bar.

After looking around for somewhere to stay local to a family function, i found this lovely looking hotel through booking.com This is set in gorgeous surroundings that are very tranquil. Extremely friendly reception. I booked a small double room, this was perfect for myself and my fiancé. Lovely traditional room, FREE wifi, which would have cost is in many of... More

A 3 night stay in August, we stayed in Room 2 a family room with plenty of space. A double bed and a single bed, ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Bed was very comortable clean and made every day. The furniture is dated but definitely wont spoil your stay. Bathroom is ok, will need some grout work soon but kept... More

We chose Lanteglos to hold our wedding reception in May this year. We can't thank Roger and Stephanie enough for everything they have done, they helped to make our day so perfect. The setting is just beautiful, well kept and tranquil. The service we received was excellent. The accommodation was lovely and very clean. The food was amazing from the... More

My wife and I just got home from a 3 day break at the Lanteglos Country House hotel. It was simply all (and more) that we had hoped for. We had been concerned that the Trip Advisor reviews ended at October 2013 and raised this with the owners. We had thought the worst but simply could not believe that anyone... More

Lanteglos was charming. The owners, Roger and Stephanie, were gracious and welcoming, and made our stay very pleasant. The food was amazing, with lots of local specialties and fresh produce and the grounds were lovely.

Stayed a week with a group of hikers. A former rectory, the hotel has been tastefully restored to modern standards of comfort and convenience. The staff was efficient and accommodating, and the food was exceptional. But the best thing was the unique charm of the setting__ located on country lanes in a tiny village with an ancient stone church. I... More

This was our 4th stay in one of the pine cabins behind the main hotel. They are huge but still very cosy with plenty of basics included we were in and unpacked eating toast and drinking tea and watching sky sports within minutes- we go slightly out of season and you get a real bargain
