A lovely place to stay and we felt extremely relaxed and welcomed throughout our four nights there. The veggie breakfasts were extremely tasty and filled us up for wandering around the local area. Gary was always willing to help and give advice on which places to visit. Cannot recommend enough.

We stayed at this B&B a couple of weeks ago when we were cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats. On arrival the owners couldn't have been more helpful providing us with refreshments and ensuring we settled in ok. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and the breakfast was lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

We stumbled across this place by accident, and since we are vegetarians ourselves it seemed like an obvious choice. The bedroom we had was good, we also got a lounge and bathroom to ourselves too and the decor and atmosphere of the whole house promotes relaxation. The breakfast was also excellent and it is only a short walk to the... More

We booked the family room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. - A double room and twin room with little mezzanine area for tea / coffee and large bathroom downstairs. We expected much less than this so were very happy to have more room than expected. The hosts were very friendly and made us tea even though we arrived very... More

My wife and I stayed here last Sep/Oct (2013) for two weeks on our honeymoon and found the stay very pleasing. Nice and homely, cosy and everything we needed. Good cleanliness. Gary kindly tumble-dried our washing and was very concerned with our comfort and well being but was not invasive of our privacy in any way. Gave good outing and... More

Upon arrival we were greeted, shown to our room and offered tea in the garden and a penguin! (Garden lovely, our 2 year old... More

What a lovely place to stay. Five of us stayed on route for cycling lands end john o'groats. The owners are lovely, the breakfast is great and the b&b is so pretty. It has a bike shed which is very useful and a really nice garden.

We stayed here in self catering Oak Cottage. It was very cosy, although we had 2 small children it had ample space. We felt very welcome from Gary and Debbie. If we had any queries, they were happy to help really lovely people. The garden is gorgeous and spent most evenings out there with a drink or food. Would happily... More

In summary, our view was "if we were to own a B&B this is exactly how we'd want to do it" You get a lovely warm welcome with offer of drinks upon arrival. The building has a lot of character and the rooms are decorated in keeping with this, the room was spacious and comfortable. Even though the room overlooked... More

Just returned from a lovely little break to Cornwall while house hunting and used the Culloden as our base, everything was perfect freshly baked bread and fruit before the veggie english breakfast brought out to us in the morning to eat on our patio. Comfy beds nothing was too much trouble for the owners who want to make sure you... More
