We went to the hotel to enjoy their music night and thought it would be nice to start the evening with a tasty meal. We booked a table in the restaurant, not the bar, for 7pm. We arrived about 6:45 and spent time with a drink whilst we perused the menu. We were shown to our table and gave our... More

We picked this hotel due to the location and good reviews. Reviews are generally mixed and this was also our experience. Staff all very freindly and could not be faulted although there was no feeling of anyone in overall charge, manager etc which seemed out of keeping with a hotel of this price range. We were shown to the room... More

Wasn't staying in the hotel but we did go in three times over our weeks holiday in Boscastle and would certainly recommend the bar/pub, felt very welcome here, bar staff were very friendly and chatty! Young girl with glasses is lovely & bubbly!! Beer very good on draught!

I have been to the Wellington hotel many times as I grew up in the area, but had never stayed there until now with my own children. It has the charm of a place with history, as this place does. The staff were friendly throughout our 5 night stay and could not have been more accommodating to make me and... More

I phoned the Wellington Hotel at short notice and turned up quite late in the evening, tired and ready for a good night's sleep. Stepping into the hotel is like stepping back in time, given the old-style decor and pictures on the walls. The walk to my room was quite convoluted, so I'm glad I was able to find my... More

We had a wonderful two day stay at this delightful hotel while touring around England. The staff were friendly, courteous and vert helpful....great sense of humour too. It was nice to escape the crowds for a couple of days and relax in a delightful environment. And to top off our experience the dinner was prepared by a great chef. An... More

A group of three of us bought drinks in the bar area downstairs at about midday. The three staff on duty made it out to be a huge effort to serve us, when we were asked for our ID, which we were happy to show (all of us 20 years or older), the older woman laughed at my brother's military... More

Tripadvisor reviews are a valued source of feedback for us at The Wellington and I use their content both to congratulate our staff on a job well done or to look at how we can improve. As our previous reviews show, our efficient and friendly service is of vital importance to us. I was therefore dismayed to read this review... More

Just had the most wonderful stay at the Wellington, faultless. From the moment we were welcomed, through to the breakfast staff and housekeepers, everyone at the hotel were warm and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious, our room exceptionally clean and comfortable and a genuine sense of calm and relaxation. The location of course is stunning and the local shop owners were equally as welcoming.Looking forward to... We had 4 nights at The Wellington, the first 2 were in the outstanding Room 21. Great stay, slept well and the room was immaculately turned out and well worth the £125 a night we paid for it. The last 2 nights we were moved into Room 4, which apparently has recently been done up. This room is not a... More

We were made very welcome by the staff and shown around the hotel. Stayed in the turret room which was very large and well furnished with a nice bathroom .Very convenient to stroll in to Boscastle .We used the side entrance which saved some stairs and having to go through reception.Breakfast was very nice but on the small side for...
