Go here before the village gets swamped by a third runway. Very pleasant, great staff, a lovely local. Handy for the airport. Taxis lay over two minutes walk away. The village shop is closeby. For the movie buffs Genevieve was partly filmed in the village.

I stayed here for one night it was terrible. I had a room which looked like it hadn't been decorated since the romans ruled the earth part woodchip part plaster. There was no en suite which is always a disaster. The carpet was stained and the bed had wheels in so not exactly stable and with no headboard it was... More

I wish my other half had bothered to frequent this site and read reviews before booking! Simply put - no. Main reasons - we were not able to find any smoke detectors or fire safety measures in the room and there was very little natural light. Only redeeming factor is the friendliness and helpfulness of staff BUT nice is not... More

Crikey I really thought that places like this did not exist, but they do and the Swan Hotel is it! I simply can not rate this 'Inn' as it surely is a doss house! In fact I am sure a doss house is better than this. Two single beds in a room, filthy, table cloth hanging at window doing its... More

Simple question? How desperate are you for a room? Because you'd need to be very desperate to stay here, I ended up here after a booking mix up and I just couldn't believe my eyes, I've seen bigger bath rooms. The room measured 12 feet by 5 feet you literally couldn't move, the TV was ripped from the wall, there... More

After being turned down by the local travelodge due to being 'fully booked' (even though they still had rooms advertised online!) me and my two friends found ourselves a little stuck on where to stay. A quick look on laterooms.com found us this place Stayed in the 4 person family room located behind the pub that owns it, room was... More
