Stayed for one night prior to flying. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant served great food and and drink request catered for in the bar. Rooms are comfortable, beds and linen exceed expectation. Only gripe very high charges for wireless internet. Should be included in a 5 star hotel.

For a transient hotel this is not what you would normally expect. The real advantage of this hotel is that you can walk straight in to Terminal 5, so perfect for relaxing before or after your flight. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and adequate. Food and service are all of very good quality. Beware of the car park charges, check these first before considering leaving your car there.

We stayed overnight at the Sofitel Heathrow on the basis of their Gatwick hotel which we have used a number of times and rate very highly.
