Nice to find a place down to earth very close to the high street, good rest, relaxing stay. The guy at the front desk was helpful, the room was very clean. Also did not kill any budget as it was very cheep compared to others in the area.

I chose this place because it was cheap. As such it constituted decent value compared with other accommodation nearby. It was a fraction of the price. The gentleman on duty could not have been more helpful obliging and polite. I could not stay for breakfast but from what I could tell it was going to be decent. It would not... More

What I don't understand about the majority of hotels and guest houses in Hounslow is how on earth they get away with charging so much and supplying so little. The Civic Guest House is by no means the absolute worst in the area, but it is still terrible value. Stepping through the doors was like travsing a portal to 1978,... More

Hi All As I work across the country and stay in hotels for 8 months a year, I never really have time to comment on hotels, I just take them as a pinch of salt, it is a bed, that's it, but this hotel really takes the mick..... Let me start, I had to stay in this hotel for 2... More

Good for the price. Comfortable & clean with helpful staff. Decor a little tired in places but you do need to be realisic with your expectations in London - you aren't going to get 5 star luxury at this price. Stayed for 3 nights - nice room, good breakfast, convenient location (5 mins walk from tube station). Excellent value for... More

For the third year running we traveled to Twickenham to the rugby sevens. Once again staying at the Civic Guest House Hounslow. The Civic does get some unfair reviews. It is not a bad place its not flash and the price represents this. The guys that run it are OK. We have had no hassle at all. We booked our... More
