The staff on the check in desk did not speak good English and I had to ask her a couple of times to "say that again please". The room(9) was adequate if a little dated ,the shower was not the best!. The bar prices were more than I would expect to pay. The breakfast was very good, self service and... More

We booked into this hotel to stay overnight as we were attending a wedding in the area. Having read the other reviews i was wondering what the hotel would be like. Well the hotel was fine, the bedroom was clean and tidy and the bathroom beautifully clean with fresh white towels. The cooked breakfast was very good with an excellent... More

I had a single room for one night. It was adequate given the age of the building which must cause problems re planning permission for renovations. Basically I was only there to sleep, eat breakfast and park the car in relative security. Breakfast included in the price was excellent.

I don't think we have had a worse hotel room than the one we had at at our recent stay at the Tudor Lodge. Old outdated furniture, no bedside reading lights, mattress that had 'fallen in', and a very dingy feel to the room. The window in the roof at the rear on the room was poorly fitted and daylight... Have stayed here on 2 occasions..once in the house and once in the annexe room. Kept awake both times by noise from 24hr bar...the 1st time until 4am...not helpful when staying on business!! Unfortunately this negates any good stuff about the hotel. Even in the annexe room was kept awake until 2am as needed to keep window open as room... More

Family room was awful. Could not even open the door properly as the room was too small for the beds. There was a lot of noise from the room upstairs, just people walking around, very poor flooring upstairs. Bathroom was dirty with mould around window and broken tiles. Beds were very uncomfortable. The room was very dated and worn. Lots... More

Me and my husband stayed at Tudor Lodge for 2 nights and found it worth the money. It's near to the airport, about 20-30mins drive and also close to central london, again a 20-30mins drive. The location is great and our room was cozy and spacious for two people(we got the deluxe room, which has a capacity for 4 people).... More

Unfortunately was at the front, next to a very noisy road. Although told that I would not hear the school party going on, that was not the case, especially when they left around midnight. Woken again by shouting by incoming residents at 2am and then when a group loudly left at 5am. Had to keep the window closed on a... More

Just back from two night stay, and have too say room was fine and breakfast buffet was also fine. The weird thing is the service at night. Came in for a pint,Becks, only tap, and was told there was none left, never too offer to change a barrell, also asked for crisps, again told none. I'm afraid barman, night watchman or whatever... Only stayed one night(have stayed here before), room perfectly ok, in new block at rear, quiet. Shower room designed for disabled, which is great but not quite enough room to manoeuvre with seat there and limited movement of shower head. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was buffet style which is not to my taste. However I would stay again as... More
