If you need to be in Eastcote then there is possibly no alternative but to stay here. It is within comfortable walking distance of Eastcote station, has adequate parking facilities and breakfast is ok; otherwise it has very little going for it. The dingy and dated rooms are of variable size with variable facilities, including showers that defy all attempts... More

We stayed here for one night instead of the four we were booked in for - due to the appalling service from the receptionist, the dirty state of the room and that we weren't getting any value for money. Just because it is an old Tudor lodge from the 15th century - does not mean that the place has to... More

We travelled up from Devon and stayed here for 1 night in November, for a family wedding anniversary party. I was aware beforehand that this hotel had received some negative reviews and at first glance at a room one can understand it to a degree. The place IS old and a tad shabby; routes to some of the rooms are... More

Good Grief! Are you ready for this? Work necessitated another night away, so The Tudor Lodge was booked for me as the nearest hotel to where I needed to be the next day. We even paid extra to have larger rooms. After a few hours drive down the motorway my colleague and I arrived and checked in. I won't lie,... More

The rooms are lovely & large, clean, & very comfortable en suite facilities very clean too. Breakfast was great & service was great too. It's close to eastcote railway station with a direct line... We booked 2 nights over the weekend in a deluxe double room. We were allocated a modern room in a barn like structure that was clean and warm but had no character given we had chosen a Tudor hotel. The staff were attentive, discrete and polite, breakfast was excellent in quality and choice. Unfortunately there was a large private party... More

The old lodge is quaint, the rooms are spread around various buildings in the property. I rented a room for my sister in the main building, which is designed for hobbits, but my room in the barn like structure was more normal with modern amenities. One of the few hotels that doesn't change sheets everyday like the placards say, though... More

On arrival we were directed to room 2 above reception, after 5 minutes I had found a packet of old opened pastries in the cupboard and a used and hair covered soap in the shower, took these down to reception and got an apology. Couple of hours later after having a shower I was in reception again to complain about... More

When we arrived at 3.30pm we thought our room which we were told we could check in to from 2pm would be ready. We had to wait 20 minutes while it was cleaned so at least I hoped it would be clean - alas not! Please see the photos for a selection of the stains on the freshly made beds!... More

I have not stayed here for many years and I was impressed when I turned up. On the plus side, the breakfast served was excellent, apart from the service. The food was very tasty in a delightful restaurant area, which was very modern. However, not one waitress approached us, so we just sat down and then chased them for toast... More
