I like this hotel. The facilities are good, even thought the rooms are a little tired and need refurbushing soon. The restaurant is not bad, but I think the food is overpriced. Never again would we stay at this hotel . First night got back to our room about 17.00 p.m. to find our room not made up. Restaurant manager then had to do this. Luckily we were only staying one night at the Village Hotel whilst we dropped our daughter back to uni-we probably won't stay again. Finding a decent mid range hotel in Liverpool seems to be a challenge. I had no problems at all, very tidy and brilliant room! Very comfy bed, brilliant lighting, chair and table, dressing table, flat screen tele, brilliant bathroom.
