I arrived to an unwelcoming guest house. My booking had been taken and the guy told me that it was a cleaning day and that the booking had gone through. Seemed such an inconvenience for him to have to offer breakfast and to show me to the room. I asked for poached eggs and he made a noise that indicated... More

Worse hotel in Brid or even thee uk, hosts were rude. would not go here. sheets un washed, woke by noisy staff, though room was fine no noise, except that noisy Church bell next to this hotel, nice early start, no thanks, we tried another hotel not too far, great pro hosts. Faulty towers, but this is not a sitcom... More

We stayed at the Ivanhoe for one night en route to Northumbria. Very conveniently located guest house, close to the seafront and local restaurants. We had a lovely welcome from Gillian who gave us recommendations for good places to eat close by. Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed, though the addition of a hair dryer would be a... Second visit here and I just can't recommend this place enough, immaculate, amazingly friendly lovely owners, told us the best places to eat Ritches for fish and chips and go. Had a fantastic mini break here and cannot wait to go back.

I had a great stay at Ivanhoe. You will get a friendly welcome and well looked after by Mick and Gillian. A very comfortable stay and a great shower. Ivanhoe is in a top spot too. Just a short walk to the sea front, dining and shopping, very handy. Recommended !

My partner stayed here with her friends to celebrate a birthday and go to see Shawaddywaddy at the Spa. The Ivanhoe was a short walk away from the spa, but out of the way of the hussle and bustle of the town, location was ideal! Off street Parking made sure our car was safe. Decor was new and clean and... More

My son and I stayed the night at the Ivanhoe Bridlington at the end of cycling the Way of the Roses. We were greeted by Gillian who really could not have been more welcoming. We took the bikes round the back of the house where Mick put them somewhere safe and dry. We did notice there was a cycle wash... More

A very friendly greeting in a beautifully decorated house, everything one needs in the rooms well furnished as are the dining room and lounge area. The breakfast consisting of juice choice of cereals and well cooked breakfast supported by ample toast and tea and coffee.
