From arrival to departure we were made to feel welcome and at home. Living area was cosy and warm, bedrooms were just right in size, beds were very comfy and shower was fantastic. The hotel is a licenced premises with a small bar but good selection of beers and spirits. The breakfast selection was either Continental or full English. I... More

Stayed for one night after a family function. Nice quiet street close to town and beach. Very clean room, comfy bed and also very quiet. Got a great nights sleep. Only minor gripe is the shower which is a bit hit and miss. Red hot to cold and not very powerful. Owners very helpful, fantastic breakfast, all very laid back... More

A warm welcome from the off. Cup of tea and biscuits on arrival and then shown to our spacious and comfortable room. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was well cooked and presented. Carol and Nigel did everything possible to ensure we were comfortable, warm and well fed. Nigel took us in his own car to the Old... More

I'm still here as I am writing this but I was so impressed I couldn't wait to write my review. The location is perfect far enough away from the town you can't hear it but near enough to get to. The rooms are so comfortable and warm and like home from home. The bed we've had is so squishy awesome... More

Stayed here for the weekend with the family and had a great time. The owners saved us a parking space outside and were very friendly and welcoming. They quickly showed us to our room which was on the top floor, the room was very spacious and the beds were incredibly comfy and had all the usual amenities. The bathroom was... More

We only stayed one night but will certainly bear it in mind when looking to stay longer. The outside of the building was very well presented and the welcome was absolutely lovely. The room was spotless. There is only one word for the breakfast the next morning and that is -excellent. Well presented and well cooked. Would certainly recommend this... More

Arrived 6th June at around 1.30pm. Made to feel very welcome by Nigel & Carol, who asked if we'd like a tea or coffee as soon as we arrived. The room we stayed in had a double & a single bed, with it's own bathroom. Very clean, with tea & coffee making facilities. Location is only about 100 yards from... More

Got back from a week in France for a one night stay at the Burlington Quays and wish it had been for the week. A warm friendly greeting from the hosts Carol and Nigel before showing us to our room. Nothing was too much trouble! Even the lone of a brolly as we headed to the spa to see the... More
