We arrived in Bridlington having not pre booked somewhere to stay. Most places were full (we didn't expect anything less on August Bank holiday weekend ), and a quick phone call told us they had a room. We stayed in room 14 on the top floor, the room was nicely decorated, very clean , the bed was extremely comfortable. The... More

Stayed here in July 2015 for one night, the hotel itself is very pleasant but the rooms let it down due to the fact they are very dated. The shower cubicle is very small and could do with the carpet to be removed out of the main bathroom linked to the bedroom and this would be better off being tiled.... More

We felt welcome from our first call. The staff honestly couldn't do enough for us. Food was delicious. Whole hotel was spotless. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. En-suite roomy and clean. Hotel is situated walking distance to the town center, but still very quiet

Nothing was to much trouble, room inspection before acceptance top marks Tim & Trusting us not to abscond before paying on leaving next day after a superb Breakfast, brilliant. Very clean establishment, would put some 'Posh Hotels' we've stayed in lately to shame, The highlight of our Delayed 40th Wedding Anniversary Tour. You'll definitely see us again when in the... Stayed here for the Bridlington poetry festival and the hotel was booked for me. Hotel is lovely, Tim (owner) is very friendly and eager to help. Excellent service. Room was lovely, the fan in the bathroom wouldn't turn off but Tim said he would fix it the next day (I arrived late so it was too late to be making... More

The Ransdale Hotel may, like Bridlington, have seen better days but the proprietor, Tim and his staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The place is clean, with more than adequate facilities and good value for money. It's a perfect base for exploring lovely North Bridlington and Sewerby Hall, birdwatching, walking or a family beach break.

We visited this hotel for easter weekend and was blessed with glorious weather. Only problem was the hotel had the heating on too so it was a hotbox at times being a bit unbearable. We did turn the radiator off in our room but the restaurant and games room was still boiling. The hotel is a typical seaside hotel ,... More

Visited for a birthday party and evening dinner. Restaurant seating area good around 56 guests attended. I had garlic mushrooms well presented and very tasty followed by roast beef and vegetables, nice tasty beef. Pudding was apple crumble and custard. All food was hot and well presented. The waitresses were asking if everything was OK and they could not do... More

We were shown straight to our table near the window, Christmas music playing, crackers on the tables. The lunch ran like clock work - orders taken by friendly staff, starters served together for our table of seven, deep fried Brie delicious as were the prawn cocktails and pate. I had the turkey which was juicy and tasty, apparently the beef... More
