Just returned from a weekend in Bridlington visiting family. We were in 106a Chalet at South Shore. The chalet is well equipped and a lovely touch was a £1 coin to start us off in case we didn't have one for electric, so of course we have left one for the next guest there. Being pet friendly as we took... More

We stayed in Seagulls Chalet 4 from 3rd - 6th April 2015 We paid £280 for 3 nights we did at the time think it was expensive but as it was a last minute decision to go and we needed somewhere that was pet friendly we thought what the heck. The chalet was 2 bed roomed for up to 4... More

Hi Deborah P, I'm very sorry you were disappointed with your chalet - at less than £24 per person per night for one of the busiest weekends of the year, we feel it offers exceptional value. This chalet doesn't go above this price all year. Dogs stay free, and when you consider kennels can be £17 per dog per night,... More

This was our third stay at seagulls chalet 3 in the last 5yr and we were disappointed this time!.Firstly there is now no dining table in the chalet so where are people supposed to eat meals?.Secondly the hot water system leaves a lot to be desired either a trickle or you get cold water!.Thirdly there is no toaster . Otherwise... More

Hi Gavin H, I'm sorry you weren't happy with Chalet 3 this time - I removed the dining table to make room for an additional heater this winter. I could easily have brought it back for you if you'd let me know - sorry. There was a small table which I though was sufficient. I also hadn't noticed there wasn't... More

7 friends and I needed a place to stay so we could go see a gig at Brid Spa. Initially we were struggling to find place to stay at a reasonable price (being 8 lads going to a rock n roll concert brings certain assumptions), however Ruth was more then accommodating. The chalets (one and two) were very pleasant and... More

Hi Dan, Really pleased you enjoyed your stay, and thanks for the lager and Vodka and Tonic you left me lol. I would have loved to have seen Royal Blood myself......hopefully next time if they don't get too big for The Spa - it's an excellent venue, and I've seen the Kaiser Chiefs and Jimmy Carr there, both amazing. We... More

My husband and I stayed at this little two bedroom chalet in January 2015, the Park is set right near the sea and as it was January It was extremely quiet and most of the facilities was closed. The chalet was decorated really nice but it did have a bit of wear and tear and could have done with a... More

Many thanks for your honest review, and I'm very pleased you enjoyed your stay. Seagulls is just a small family business, and I do the majority of the work myself, with just two dedicated helpers, who I couldn't manage without. I am constantly updating and upgrading the chalets, but it does take time. We offer primarily budget accommodation, and while... More

We stayed at a little 2 bed chalet. The park is in a nice setting, right near the cliffs. Some of the facilities were closed due to the time of year we went and seemed a little dated from the outside. The chalet itself was a little damp, but again, it is probably due to the time of year we... More

Hi, I'm really please you enjoyed your stay, and like my decor - my chalets are all decorated by me personally and it's always nice to know that people appreciate my taste. The chalets are all wooden structures, and next to the beach, so can become damp when unoccupied. We always try to put the heating on prior to guests... More

Just back from a weekend at Seagulls. Was again excellent and we were given a free upgrade to chalet 5 which is a few minutes walk to the beach and is a lovely spacious detached chalet. It had everything we needed. The weather was kind and it's a perfect base for exploring the East Coast. Will be visiting again soon

Thanks Ali, Really please you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to you coming back soon. Chalet 5 is our 3-bedroom detached, and sleeps seven. It is always full in peak times, but I do like my regular guests to try it when possible, hence the upgrade. I'm very proud of it - it had no windows,... More

Hi Ali, Thanks for your review, and I'm really please you enjoyed your stay in Chalet 2. The facilities on site are all privately owned, and did try to stay open through winter last year. Unfortunately there just weren't enough people, so they were mainly shut this January. If people continue to come to South Shore in winter, I'm sure... More
