Shame to see a large sea view hotel on the market, Bridlington needs more big, good quality hotels, not empty properties, but no doubt it will end up as apartments

Clean. Staff friendly BUT hotel past it's sell-by. Did not like cracked basin in bathroom or the wardrobe in a bathroom. Curtains ripped. Wallpaper old and peeling. Paintwork scratched. Breakfast first morning very poor served by a man dressed as if just in from gardening and reeked of cigarrette smoke. Second morning better we were served by man in clean... More

My first reaction to the hotel when we stood at the bottom of the steps was - WHAT A DUMP! We had paid £110 for one night and expected first class for that price in Bridlington. I booked after checking out their website (which is must be out of date as it is nothing like it in reality). The whole... More

We spent a couple of nights at The Bay View Hotel in June. It is a very poor hotel and the description on its website is exaggerated. Our room was reasonable - small, - two single beds jammed in a small space which meant the wardrobe was banished to the bathroom - reasonably clean although rain had driven in through... More

We recently visited this hotel as our friends had booked a room there. We went into the bar area and ordered a round of drinks. The receptionist was covering the bar as there was no bar staff available, she was been helped by a man called Richard. They were both struggling to provide us with a round of drinks, in... More

I am not sure if I stayed at the Bay View the previous reviewers stayed at. I found the hotel drab and outdated and the bathroom was dirty. It was overpriced and I left feeling disapointed. I will not be staying there again, EVER!
