Overall we were not impressed with the hotel. The bed was so uncomfortable but at 1am it was not possible to complain about it. Good location for visiting Wellington College but really not a good hotel and 3* is certainly a stretch.

Like most of the other reviewer I found this hotel convenient, comfortable and good value for money. Agreed the décor is a little in need of some TLC but so are most hotels in older buildings. I went straight for a superior room, there was so little difference in the price it was a no brainer (I wasn't paying anyway).... More

The hotel has the look and feel of a large family home, and is in a quiet setting for a peaceful nights sleep, but easy walking distance to Crowthorne and good access to M3 and M4. I can't praise the staff enough, they go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one. The hotel decor is a... More

Set back off the street, it looks like it could be a family home. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was a bit basic but I would recommend the Mutten Bhuna for an evening meal...it was outstanding. Decent internet connection, which is a must nowadays. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. This was booked on my behalf so... More

Some colleagues of mine booked the hotel so I had no idea what to expect. The hotel is set back from the road with a good carpark. The greeting was pleasant and check in swift. I had an attic room which was well presented and clean. All as one would expect, large TV, comfortable bed, large fan as it was... More

This is my second visit to this hotel and whilst the rooms are clean, they are a little Spartan. Free internet access makes work possible and breakfast is fine too. The decor though doors need some work as the hotel verges more on the shabby rather than the chic side

We stayed for one night in room 19, a standard double. We paid £83 for a double room with breakfast, so it was more expensive than most Premier Inns, but not as comfortable. The hotel is in need of updating. Access to room 19 is around the side of the building and it opens directly onto the path; as a... More

I stayed here for ten months while working in the area and was always very well looked after. The staff are friendly, warm and efficient, the rooms great value for money, clean and comfortable. A reliable, free wifi service and though I'm not a breakfast person it always smelled great!

We booked a one night stay end of June as we were going to a music festival. From the moment we stepped inside we felt disappointed as it was very old fashioned and in need of a good clean. We were given our key and sent on our way to find our room which was small, dismal, very dark and had... More

A well located pleasant hotel giving good value for money. Pleasant, friendly staff very helpful, a good breakfast, free Wi-Fi and plenty of parking made this a good choice. Some areas of the hotel need a bit of TLC but otherwise ideal
