Some colleagues of mine booked the hotel so I had no idea what to expect. The hotel is set back from the road with a good carpark. The greeting was pleasant and check in swift. I had an attic room which was well presented and clean. All as one would expect, large TV, comfortable bed, large fan as it was... More

This is my second visit to this hotel and whilst the rooms are clean, they are a little Spartan. Free internet access makes work possible and breakfast is fine too. The decor though doors need some work as the hotel verges more on the shabby rather than the chic side

We stayed for one night in room 19, a standard double. We paid £83 for a double room with breakfast, so it was more expensive than most Premier Inns, but not as comfortable. The hotel is in need of updating. Access to room 19 is around the side of the building and it opens directly onto the path; as a... More

I stayed here for ten months while working in the area and was always very well looked after. The staff are friendly, warm and efficient, the rooms great value for money, clean and comfortable. A reliable, free wifi service and though I'm not a breakfast person it always smelled great!

We booked a one night stay end of June as we were going to a music festival. From the moment we stepped inside we felt disappointed as it was very old fashioned and in need of a good clean. We were given our key and sent on our way to find our room which was small, dismal, very dark and had... More

A well located pleasant hotel giving good value for money. Pleasant, friendly staff very helpful, a good breakfast, free Wi-Fi and plenty of parking made this a good choice. Some areas of the hotel need a bit of TLC but otherwise ideal

On arrival I was told that I had been given a free upgrade to a double room - a great start! Syed the owner was very attentive and friendly and gave the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. The room itself was spacious and bright with plenty of desk top space for my laptop (WiFi was free) and... More

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and cannot praise the staff and the facilities enough. The staff are very professional and nothing is too much trouble for them. The accommodation is always clean and the beds are very comfortable. I had a single room which was more than adequate for my needs. The breakfast menu is extensive and... More

This as brief review as there is little to say, as nothing particularly bad nor outstanding applies to this small hotel. Arrival to a good sized car park, and the host who gave the necessary information in a friendly manner and offered help with bags. The room was small and plain, reminded us somewhat of chain budget-hotels. The shower room... More

we booked the Dial House for a near by family wedding. Everyone felt that the staff went out of their way to be warm and welcoming and to take every opportunity to make our stay very special from helping us with our luggage from the car to meeting special dietary requests with cheerfulness and charm. The rooms were clean and... More
